Is any way to power up a Mikrotik Antenna that expects Passive PoE like SXTsq 5ac ?
@@kainblock yes
It was so helpful , Thanks
like a military device
Does it come with the ear bracket for rack mounting or you buy it separate
Yes, it does come with mounting brackets.
what is the range in radius transmission ?
Depends on environment.
@@eW0LF comparing this with Nanostation m2 loco
@@DRbiggy101 I am unable to compare it since I didn't use Nanostation M2 loco
@@eW0LF thank you.
Can it be used for a subscription wifi hotspot
Hello again! I hope you’re doing well. I’m wondering how you use your servers in the rack? If you could share what you use them for and if they can be used to prepare for any Cisco exams or job related skills that would be great. Thank you
Hello! This is really old version of my lab. In my last version (that will be decommissioned soon) servers are used to host AAA services, WLC, CUCM and virtual clients.
very cool
sick lab, would love to see an update !
I can’t find and connect to 5ghtz antena in my pc
Upgrade to the latest ROS.
This switch is pure garbage.
As a L2 switch for basic network, it is fine as any other. But I agree that Mikrotik needs to step up theit swithing game.
Still using rb951ui-2hnd
we both using same but it's time for an upgrade
Oh wow. I picked up the rb5009 because I need to support a symmetric gigabit internet connection
Love it 😊😊
can someone please explain the POE in and POE out for me.
PoE in- powering device. PoE out - powering other device.

Thank you for support.

With this device could I power 4 ubiquiti? 2 Litebeam AC and 2 Powerbeam AC
Yes, you can.
Can it be used for hotspoting..if yes....what is the price
Yes, it can. You need to check the price with your local distributor.
Hay im interested with ur topic, but i cant speak english fluently so icant get the point. Please can u give me the conclusion of ur video.
buenas tardes, puedo energizar con dc 24v?
This device is rated for 12-57 V, so yes, you can.
What does that do?
What do you want to know?

Max internet Speed in bridge mode?
Sorry, what are you trying to ask?
@@eW0LF sorry for my poor english. I am Italian. by purchasing 2 antennas of this type to make a radio link, what network speed can be achieved? I have a 1gb-s FTTH connection and I would like to use it all. conditions: 160 meters distance, no obstacles, antenna height from the ground 15 meters
@@blackstar5325 you will have no problem getting that gigabit speed with this set.
Thank you! This is awesome and inspiring
Thank you! :)
@@eW0LF Do you use any lab guides to help you run a physical lab? I've been able to find cisco packet tracer labs easily but nothing really for physical labs. How do you know what to practice?
I'm brand new to networking, in the USA, and recently purchased cisco equipment for a home lab.
@@robertgoodman1454 I am not using any guides. I don't think they even exist. But, you first need to decide what is most interesting part of network for you - routing, switching, collaboration, wireless, security, DC etc. When you know what is your area of interest, just create lab for it. For example, I like to have lab for enterprise 3-tier company network since I currently work for MSP company and our clients are mostly organisations with such network topology. But for start, if you are new to this, just replicate Packet Tracer labs with real gear.
@@eW0LF That's great to know! Thank you for your advice. That's very helpful.

Disassembly starts at 7:30.
what antennas are those i read they dont come with the unit
Product code is HGO-antenna-OUT. And yes, you need to buy them separate from unit.
@@eW0LF Hello Sir, where to buy that antenna (I'm in Cambodia)
@@viraktop8423 find your local Mikrotik distributor. They will be able to sell it to you.
Where's it from? How much does it cost? It's so cute!
This is product of company Dok-ing from Zagreb, Croatia. This car remained in prototype phase for long time and never released due to it not been company core business.
@@eW0LF Thank you, very much! I really wish you SUCCESS!
@@Moxbh no problem. Thank you!
amazing ,atke care~ 📽
Thank you. I am glad that you liked it.
huh, mine also came with a very similar oil pattern under it.
Awesome unboxing :D! I still need to get my hands on some 2k hardware, though the company where I work doesn't want to move over to it until v7 gets into a Long-Term release.
Thank you! :D I am very hyped about 2k routers. Wish I could get my hands on 2216 since it seems to be great replacement for 1072 that I had deployed. I don't mind the v7 in production, it is solid so far, but they should be further improvements in near future. What do you think about 7.3?
I've installed about 20 of these units. They are pretty cool. Good video.
Great to hear that! These are great, but I do hope to se 802.11ax APs from MikroTik.
Where in Australia is this sold, advice
Sorry, I don't know the Australian market. I live in Europe.
Just from a customer prospective, i setup a pair of the Wireless-wire devices. When they say WIRELES-WIRE its actually like you were wired. Freaking wicked devices !! Highly recommended to alot of my clients & none of them have failed, all rock solid units 100% OH and way better then anything Unifi :P
Yeah, they are great. Been using OG WirelessWire for several years without any problems on multiple locations. And for last few months, I integrated few Wireles Wire Cubes in our national traffic camera network and they work flawlessly. I must say that I gave up on Unifi network gear. They Protect system is solid, but the rest is big mess.
@@eW0LF the fact that you pay so much for unifi and only get 1 year warranty is bs. Canada 24port Poe switch 899 1 year. No thanks.
Sweet, good video !
Thank you! I am glad that you enjoyed it.
I have 500mbps isp 120 mobile phone users it’s better for me? I wount STOP QRscan Only plase

Sir 300 connection 500 Mbps my load. So What do you prefer to me
Thanks for sharing such an Awesome project. Can you please share the code. An early response will be highly appreciated. Kind regards.
I'm a newbie , so it's shocking for me that there is about 30-50 ethernet ports , but for you guys it's usual lol! :P
@eWolf, nice Lab . It looks very professional. I will like to build mine too like this, can you pls make a list of the devices. I will really appreciate that. 👍
Nice video
So...the point is "hey, I can do this." but not how to do it?
The point is that this is not tutorial.
why mikrotik dont made a plug and play router so the one who buy there product dont need to configure the router because not everyone knows to configure mikrotik router
Well if you use webfig then it is pretty much simple to use and configure for everyone. And if you need advanced options you can have that too.
it is plug and play if you chose to use their own built in config. You just need to change the password and user name. Easy
Your not configuring Raid 5, the UNVR will and you have no say in it after 2 drives.
That is true, but there was no way for me to know that before I turned it on. :) Ubiquiti is really stingy with their product descriptions.
I have a question mine isn’t working and need help
Hey friend you can show some basic configuration of devices which you unbox. That previous rb 4011. Almost no one showed that device working with basic config on TH-cam. So maybe you can 😀
Hi! Well, I might show some configuration when I do a video of my home network. I don't use "basic" config, but I can show how mine is set up. I also presume that people are not showing configs since not many are able to properly configure bridge vlan filtering.
@@eW0LF yes Thank you, also can you suggest me router between Edgerouter 6p and mikrotik 4011. am currently using Edgerouter lite and it's pegging at 100 % under heavy load with 75 meg up and down connection and temps are getting really high.
If I have to choose, I would take RB4011. But, if you are comfortable with Ubiquiti, I would suggest to stay with it. If you don't care about vendors, and you are fine with changing over or you allready know how to configure Mikrotik, go with RB4011.
