Bueno amigo Fabian, agradezco los comentarios constructivos, aunque el tuyo no nos aporta nada 👍 Si lees la descripción puedes ver que no es un arma de fuego que vaya a ser utilizada, es solo un objeto de decoración, por lo tanto el dueño del mismo puede elegir como quiere el acabado final, si brillante, negro..... Y otra cosa, el PAVONADO no afecta al uso del arma, solo de su cuidado y mantenimiento, literalmente se podría usar exactamente igual ( aunque en este caso he quitado mucho oxido y no merece la pena.

@@jackyboyYtube Your right I'm old been collecting antique weapons for 60- years and have restored more than a few. And I don't care how he did it his weapon his choice my comment was in regards to the value. Any collector value was destroyed, simple as that. And it wasn't necessary. It is interesting you find it productive to attack me over that observation. But that seems to be the go to response by the kids these days.

Hi! First I made a chemical process to remove the most superficial oxide, then with a coarse-grained sandpaper (although by the remains of the dirt itself looks very dark😅) and then with finer sandpaper, until finishing with a polish. If you’re questioning my work, I can make an hour-and-a-half video by sanding the barrel, but I think it’s gonna be a little boring... 😉

@@jackyboyYtube not questioning your work at all which was excellent, but would have liked to your method of cleaning the internal barrel, there are several options.

@@jackyboyYtube no not me, I'm a long time firearms owner but not an expert. I have refurbished many firearms and have restored some antique ones back to military configuration. It's a fun hobby.

@@daveintheshed4870 I do some restorations but only at aesthetic level, nothing professional or military or practical. It is only by aesthetic interest of the owner of each of them Still I am learning little by little, I am still inexperienced

Me parecen bien todos los comentarios constructivos y respeto tu opinion, pero no quiero un museo, gracias. mi trabajo es restaurar y devolver a la vida distintos objetos, ya sean consolas, armas... Me imagino que serás un purista un poco aburrido, NI MODO.

@@jackyboyYtube I said it was a good job besides it's your gun. I'm working on my Remington, waiting for a hammer to come in. I repaired one that's on it but I found one that is in fine shape to use and a new bolt & trigger. Original part's are difficult to get. I have another original hand & spring & nipples as well. My grips are side broken so I'll probably repair ot try and find a decent set.

@@joedime3652 I’m glad you’re also working on your projects, but in this case, it’s not a clean and oiled. The pieces of wood have been restored, the rust and dirt have been removed from the mechanism I sanded, renovated and lacquered all the weapon so that it does not rust... I think it’s much more than cleaning and oiling. Thanks anyway 👍

@@jackyboyYtube TH-cam won't let people show everything anymore but having an original Remington is a real prize. I have a hammer, nipples coming in soon and I have a mint bolt & hand with it's spring for mine but my grips need to be repaired or wait for a decent set to crop up. I bought my Remington at our show in Kingman AZ from a old guy for $500. Why he did that is unknown?

⁠@@jackyboyYtube no it’s fucked it’s gonna rust right back with no coating plus it would have been much better if you boiled the metal and oiled the wood if you wanted it shiny you should have nickel plated it like guns that have shine to them are this is just polishing it and will rust

@@FrFr224 I see that even though you’re a little ignorant, you haven’t even bothered to watch the video. YOU HAVE THE SUBTITLES so you can see the process in detail. THE GUN IS LACQUERED, that is, it has a coating of a transparent varnish that shows the natural color of the metal. 😉
