The search for the WTF Motor
charge test ending voltage. took 30 minutes to get a true reading on voltage.
the motor clearly charged the battery. recovery rate was roughly 65%. this can be improved on.

Okay but what's the use? wouldn't it be better to just use a buck/boost converter?
@@rafa_br34 it's pretty useless really. But to put a single pulse of electricity " 2 watt" in the motor and keep the light lite? That's interesting to say the least. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching.

@@A13tech it's more about building a super-efficient motor. Very nice torque and power for less than 6 watts of electricity. The rotor weighs over 20 lb itself. But thank you for the comment and thank you for watching.
@@make425 What is super efficient ? It is a rottary machine with a lot of looses in friction and winding impedance. Does not matter how many poles. Very close to very efficient are nowadays Xiaomi EV motors.
Instead of trying to find ways to make it easy to swap out a fried component, you really should be spending that effort trying to figure out why it's frying and add protection measures to just stop it happening instead. Frankly, if you have to replace mosfets on a regular basis, that's a clear indication that your circuit is just plain badly designed. If your problem is back-EMF or voltage spikes, an extra shunt diode or zener to protect the mosfet is likely all that's really required.
I like how despite your beliefs you still offer advice. Kudos
To be honest, I really don't see the point to this whole contraption. Why not just hook the battery up directly to the battery charger (since, you know, that's exactly what the device is designed to do anyway)? It is guaranteed to be more efficient that way, and would probably charge faster too.
Outstanding. Makes me want to learn more.

Congratulations, you've made ...a generator. (You know, the same thing people have been using to make most kinds of electricity for literally centuries already...) There's no "free energy" anywhere here, though.

You ran out of electricity. What is that piece of crap
Also lad I would recommend using some Heat shrink wrap so that your wiring is more safe for you and generally less likely to injury you and if anything was moved that touch's the bare wiring may cause a short circuit and cause a possible fire which to avoid that possibility better, which you put electrical tape on it I can see, but still heat shrink wrap is recommended for this.
@@zephyrlyon6678 I agree, most of the wires that you see are the output coils. Not much current. The input side from the driver circuit is good. Thanks for watching and thanks for the comment.
@@make425 Of Course.
Did you have that charge controller connected to the output of the driver then to the battery? If so that's what happened because its not letting the backspike through which fried the Mosfet
@@windpowerandmore6310 no, the charge controller is on the isolated L2s and L3s. There's no rectification on the driver circuit. But the back EMF battery.
@@windpowerandmore6310 and it's happened before. It be pounding a battery and boom. Could the driver coil be pushing back on it's off cycle to much? I never thought of collecting half cycle from the driver circuit.
@make425 I think the gate fried if you had the resistor in that I sent in the circuit board. You have the right resistor in it now just monitor the heat on that resistor and adjust it to more resistance if getting warm or lower resistor a hair if stays cool. That resistor is key to having max efficiency with different input voltages. Seems you have it working pretty good now bud
@@windpowerandmore6310thanks for replying buddy. Question though. If I want to run 36 volt. What do I need to do. It gets smoking hot when I do 3 battery's in series Do I need to do anything with the two wires that are twisted together?.
@make425 you just need to put a resistor with more ohms try 3k ohms
Awesome it should be fine just see if it gets hot like you said.
I was only charging 12 volt not 24.

Thank you.
Wicked you got it running!
Ya and it's running better now. Moved the timing to the outer center magnets. Still needs refining, but it's running good. Can't Express how much I'm loving the circuit Bud😊 . I'll be ready to bump it up to 24 volt after I rewire the other turbine. I want to run through all the 12 volt tests again before changing the input voltage. I already know that I need to be above 18 volts to get good output from the rpms. And the circuit seems to run the motor fine at 9.5 volt half amp. So it definitely doesn't need 12 volt. Thanks again bud and you have an awesome circuit.

I appreciate you for satisfying my curiosity. Thanks for sharing with us your knowledgeable experiment. But I suggest you try getting the magnets closer to the rotor like 1 - 3mm away from the rotor and the speed and torque will also increase

The thicker the wire the higher the amps
And the length factor of the wire.😊
@@make425 the length alters the volts, question is how to get high volts and high amps i think i know , thin wire but 150 wires connected in parallel Iits my next project make a mini home generator well that can power a kettle 3000w, the one I'm making will probably be to small, What are you goals here?

Better at 24 volt. Video coming. No Internet again 😢😊
Happy birthday Looks like an interesting set up. Are the sets of three in the center on the rotors your drive coils?
Currently the 6 center coils are only generator coils. The main drive is one set of coils in the bottom wind turbine.
I like to add in a transformer in series on the ground side and pick off the power
