Hi, i am using the same process but because of href=/static/ in browser the link o/pens as localhost:5000/static and due to this i am not able to call the api properly. Can you please suggest me any solution for this?

One issue if you build with base-href, then all routes will start with /static/ - i guess, if we only need assets and js files, then we can add --deploy-url flag - is this right?

Thank you a lot DMoots, I have tried the code. It seems that the nested *.js files let to the situation that the *.js.map are not properly copied in the folder. Have you faced that issue with PyCharm, I could not find a way to disable the nesting of the *.js where the *.js.map files are one level below.

Thanks @DMoots for the video. It helped me to integrate Angular with Flask app. But I do have a problem when I run the python app I am getting that "localhost:5000/static/ " URL . But in your video there is no /static/ path in the URL.Could you please clarify why it is coming for me. Thanks!

One update in build command :- 8:02 In video :- Instead of " ng build --base-href /static/ " Update it :- " ng build --prod --base-href /static/ "

Instead of those main.js files you get after the command ng buld --base-href /static/, I get files like main-es5.js, main-es5.js.map, main-es2015.js and main-es2015.js.map. If I proceed doing the same thing as you (copy all those files to static) it doesn't work. The server is working fine, just the angular portion of the page doesn't work
