I showed my dad this video and it turns out that Billy and my dad were hunting for snakes together in the 60's to sell to Bill Haast. We lived in the same neighborhood for years and my dad never knew that it was Pinfish Billy who he was snake hunting with back then. He knew it was him because he was bitten by a rattlesnake on his ankle at some point during his life and one night they left a pillow case of snakes outside their tent and they all escaped. Crazy story, thanks for sharing!

Year 2019 -2020 . There are some incompetent young sheriff officers in Cudjoe key FL Monroe county substation .They do not know the law and are incompetent or lazy . Imagine cameras pointing in the direction were incident happened .signs next to front gate stating property is under cameras surveillance and deputy writes in report no cameras present on property and doesn't ask anybody if there are cameras there !!! TOTALY INEXCUSABLE . No fingerprints taken despite victim requesting it to be done . .Sherriff deputy could not puzzle out how attacker climbed fence . Me a 60 year old men created video were I climbed similar fence in 2 seconds .Deputy advised perpetrator he can obtain cc gun license (perpetrator was accused of attempted assault ) WAY TO GO , ARM CRIMINALS !! RIDICULOUS . Deputies were easily manipulated and bamboozled by a convicted criminal and his girlfriend who only arrived in the keys few weeks before incident , victim was a 20 year resident in the keys with absolutely clean record ) . Deputies exhibited no common sense what so ever . Not one sheriff deputy who arrived was older and experienced .Their botched investigation resulted in release of a real criminal and his lying girlfriend , no evidence was collected , making difficult for the court to establish truth .Victim was forced to search and obtain evidence himself , evidence was luckily collected in the last moments before it was erased and disappeared forever . . UNEDUCATED ,INCOMPETENT AND LAZY - SHERRIF DEPUTIES IN CUDJOE SUBSTATION . Their action emboldened criminals and allowed their associate to defraud more victims . THEY NEED TO HIRE SOME REAL EXPERIENCED PROFFESIONALS THERE . Do not call them to a bank robbery because they will arrest bank clerk instead of bank robber ... SERIOUSLY !! . If criminal will not harm you Sherriff deputies from Cudjoe station will .

I lived in Tavernier when Harry Harris was a bar owner (a BIG bar owner) and, I think County Commissioner. Nobody lived on the road from the old highway all the way to the park. My parents would drive us out there for a picnic. Nobody but us and a lot of white crushed coral. My, how things change.

I grew up in Tavernier in the '50s. Old cisterns and falling-down coral structures in the mangroves. Found lots of old bottles buried in the mud.

Robert has a passion for exotic fruit and for introducing the world to all the exotic fruit possibilities. Encyclopedic knowledge of his fruits. Go meet Robert!

Love the video, thanks! I was in the keys last year and we stopped at Annes Beach. I've told people, but this video really shows how nice it is. We plan on another trip next year and will stop at the gift shop. I guess the girl in me is coming out because I really liked the gift shop part of the video!
