DR.VISHNUVARDHAN SMARAKA, MYSURU ನಮ್ಮ ಮೈಸೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಹಸ ಸಿಂಹ ವಿಷ್ಣುವರ್ಧನ್ ಸ್ಮಾರಕ
After 13 years of dreaming and waiting patiently facing all the hurdles and struggles, late actor Dr. Vishnuvaradhan's memorial is all set to open finally on 29th January 2023, states a report.
The memorial is built at Vishnuvaradhan's native Halalu in the Mysuru district. The memorial was inaugurated by CM Basavaraj Bommai on 29th January 2023 at 11am.
The Government of Karnataka donated 5 acres to build the memorial at Halalu. In the 5 acres allocated, 3 acres are used for building the memorial and in the rest 2 acres an auditorium is being constructed. The total cost of the memorial is reportedly said to be approximately Rs. 11 crores. The memorial will be having Vishnuvardhan's film journey, Vishnuvardhan's collections, his memorable 600 photographs and the books used by Vishnuvardhan will be kept at the display.
