Fast but pointless.
Sound sucks
I think this was a single by Paul Mauriat.
nice! love it! good work
Brilliant but I don't like the twirling of the sticks only because I can't do it.😊
💋💋💋🙏👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
😅
Sounds like noise.
Wow.... So nice...
Was just listening to a video of eric carr saying he may have been ove qualified for kiss just hearing this and seeing his fret hand move he may have beem onto something there
Great!
Insane talent, different time I guess.Must have practiced a million hours.sounds like noise though gimme Randy rhoads guitar solo on tribute any day.I need some soul
You da man!!
Nice work🎉🎉🎉
This is good. And it’s always disappointing to hear the negative comments via KISS about Mark. I love Animalize, and Marks playing on it is shredding, but it’s still great & those were the times.
TRES Cool
Playing fast is great..but if there's no fill to it..then there's no reason for it
Very nicely done!
Superb!!!
Singer sucks..music is all over the place
As if you could any better.
Fantastically played but why the tricks with the sticks.
This is literally just mindless shredding. Hitting a whole bunch of notes without them being in any good order. This is the type of guitar playing that people who don't play guitar think is good
Be great if the audio was good enough we could actually make out what he's playing
I know the theam well, but enjoyed watching the young man playing it😁
Brian Fox Dude, all I remember is you have a headfull of hair. where did the time go.? Do you remember playing volleyball in the courtyard with half the complex and a bunch of beer.?😂
Wow.. "POCKETFUL" I used to hang out with these guys way back in the day. "Brad" rhythm guitar.😅 Calaspana Apts in Westminster,CA. I remember them being from Utah. Hey, if you know how to reach any of these guys, I'd like to hear from them. I'm Jim Walker they'll remember John Walker.
Does anyone have this full show. Sound quality is amazing. Mark was a great guitar player.
1:23 - 1:34 and that run after 2:25 just incredible drumming. God dang!!
He's got dynamite in his hands. One of the most speedy guitarists of all times.
It's called mindless shredding... He's just hitting whatever note he can regardless of what order they come in. This is what people who don't play guitar think is "great guitar playing"
Soulless shredder. Very talented but not my style
Snapshot, Brian's drum solos, and me, all by myself, shaking my bootie to his grooves on the dance floor. Best drum beats and cadence in Milwaukee thanks to your polyrythms! So much fun for me.
This solo sounds like shit, but no one can deny the talent it requires.
Thanks for these three things: 1) Possibly the best instance of “at one” with a musical instrument I’ve ever seen 2) best stick twirling ever 3) great cover of a great composition
Sounds like van halen on acid and vinne vincent rock on forever in heaven
Too much reverb…. Bet he was sloppy as fuck.
I can't hear anything but noise.
Huh, I never knew his severe arthritis issue healed shortly after being fired from KISS.
Nice, it's all about control..
Oh dear
Forget the musically unappealing display of technical wizardry, Mark's hair (poodle on 'roids w/massive Kentucky mudflap) is insane!
Musically unappealing is accurate. I always hated his solos and looked at them as a mess of techniques vomited sonically at full bore. Did the guy have a skill set? Sure. But I feel like he and Vinnie Vincent both were the type of players that treated their jobs like it was some kind of a talent show. With Vinnie, it was capable of being amazing, if he was constrained by band mates or a producer. Left to his own devices, it was a splattery mess of notes.
I know that drummer anywhere..saw him open for Black Sabbath in 1989 in a certain band called Silent Rage.
Great song. Its 1987 or 1988?
Mush potatoes
Die Amityville Horror Musik beruht auf ein friedliches Thema. Was dieser Lärm dazwischen zu tun hat, ist mir ehrlich gesagt Schleierhaft! 🤦🏻♂️
Damn, I hope you're still alive. Such passion and talent. You could not have picked a more epic piece of music to do your thing. Lovedddddd it
YES BRIAN!!!!!! RUSH is everything!!!! When the Snakes and Arrows tour came to Boise... I BEGGED.. actually begged people. Please go with me!! I finally convinced my friend to go.... Needless to say... She LOVES RUSH NOW😂 success 🤘🤘🤘
I have no idea how anybody in the comments can judge this, positively or negatively. The recording is so distorted, it would still sound like a jackhammer rabbit-boinking a half-broken washing machine during the spin cycle if he played the best solo in the history of music. How the hell do you critically assess music you literally cannot hear? All I hear is the diaphragm of a video camera microphone almost getting ripped in half by a level of sound pressure it's not in any way sufficient for. Some people here claim the playing is brilliant, others say it's the worst thing ever. Both statements are ridiculous - because how on Earth could you tell? You cannot hear what he's actually playing for most of this.
The most horrible audio in the damn world
That is the most pathetic era of guitar playing in history. Mindless drivel.
Hands appear fine here
