I'm glad the brothers were able to visit this place. The efforts made to do so took considerable practical and spiritual energy, as well as bravery I'm sure. The shrine dedicated to the memory of the honorable Coast Guardsmen who were lost, has as its backdrop one of the most magnificently beautiful places on earth, which is fitting.

Sounds like IIMC problems.

I did mountain search and rescue for 15 years. Sadly we lost some also. The rocks are unforgiving of mistakes.

I grew up with a silent and passive aggressive father ... wasn't much help either.

That's so sad...

I feel so much for your family. I survived a jet crash on Vancouver Island, BC. in1969. I was 18. It changed my life. I did not know the people who died on my plane but I still wish for closure. Someday I hope to visit the site of the crash.
