This is basically my 2025 build. I was gigging the helix for nearly 4 years and switched to the QC this past fall. threw it on a temple audio board with an expression pedal. I agree that the temple mods and gig bags are kind of pricey. I ended up picking up a case from analogcases for the temple audio and it was worth every penny in my opinion! great build and video!

I have I question. When I press record on it my guitar loses all volume and when I try to play it back nothing plays. Any idea of what I’m doing wrong?

This is just what I use on my 22 inch scale Washburn. It helps if you play doom or stoner metal.

Can someone tell me why people on videos always cut all of the strings? What's the point of taking more effort and time to make more of a mess? You still have to remove them from the tuners at the headstock, and from the bridge at the body. What does cutting them save or prevent or improve? Plus now you have more pieces to potentially lose and stab your foot on when you don't realize it's stuck in the carpet, rather than just wrapping them all in a circle and pitching the bunch.
