Part of the NESCathlon, I returned to this game and managed to grind out a WR after discovering a few lag reduction strategies and some optimizations in later stages. This is a surprisingly fun, but janky, speedrun. Activated by inputting forward air while returning to the stage. You can drop of the ledge, jump, fair, and instantly act. I used shield as an indicator. I only do it successfully twice, the last attempt prior to hitting Mac is the best one. I have done this in practice and been able to jab, grab, and insta roll.
