To many including myself, the Crown Victoria was and is one of a few outstanding Ford designs. It fixes your gaze on it.

The 1956 Crown Victoria was truly a beautiful North American Car. Ford paid homage to Canada by naming this car Crown, the US is not ruled under a Crown, and Victoria which references Victoria Day, the major Canadian holiday in May before Canada Day on July first. Their is no question that the name Crown Victoria has much more to do with the US neighbor, Canada and the other Commonwealth nations under the British Crown in 1955, these countries have also been a major part of Ford's global interests. The Crown Victoria is a reminder that Ford is a global corporation with vast investment in Commonwealth countries.

WOW, the white and light blue color combination on the first example of a 1956 Crown Victoria is absolutely stunning. What a beautiful car! While that glass top looks cool, it definitely was not "cool" inside the car on a sunny day.
