Keep in mind that soccer is still thought of by many in America as a women's sport so it attracts a much different crowd in the US than you would get in England. Also, there's probably a higher percentage of little girls in the American stadiums and overall, a more upscale crowd in the US so there's not going to be any vulgar chants. Considering that soccer is the eighth or ninth most popular team sport in the US, this is like comparing a basketball game in the US to a basketball game in England.

I agree with most of what you said. However, it's been proven Sia lied about casting an autistic actress in the first place, because in a 2015 interview, she said she had written the part especially for Maddie. :( Also, the character of Music was based on a black boy called Stevie. Sia said she taught Maddie to act like Stevie. So a neurotypical white woman taught another neurotypical white woman to act like a black autistic boy, hence why we have this weird neurotypical stereotype going on with the portrayal.
