Hey man. I hope I’m not being a bother with this comment. I’ve tried looking it up, but I couldn’t find the answer. Is there any way u could tell me what starts happening when the harmonic balancer is going bad? My car is making a squealing noise intermittently and I’m thinking it’s the harmonic balancer pulley based on what other people have told me. When it first started chirping, I noticed the Hbalancer pulley was wobbling a bit to the point that it was noticeable, but after a little bit like a day or 2 of driving the chirping went away and the pulley stopped wobbling. About a month or so went by, and it came back worse this time. Pulley isn’t wobbling when the car is running, but it’s still chirping. Could this be the harmonic balancer pulley like I’m thinking?
