All I can say is try and pay closer attention to the genetics. For a Friesian, if he (or she) has the Ee gene, you have a chance of getting a chestnut Friesian (ee gene). A Friesian with the EE gene will not work. There's also the factor (if that's the right word) of luck and patience. I'm really bad at explaining things, but I do hope I could help ^_^.

I actually do care about real horses. I've been a huge lover of horses since I was little. And in this game, if you're doing Grand Prix, you have to really focus to try and not knock anything down if you want to succeed the competition. I'm sorry if I seemed like I was pulling on the reins, too much, and whatnot, but my attention cannot be on that when it comes to Grand Prix. And besides, as the other commenter said, this is just a game, anyway. It's really not that serious.

For just verticals you need a working canter, and for oxers you need a extended canter, but you can jump them both in working. So if you wanna clear the jump then you need to have a good canter.

I also don't often realize if I am pulling, too much...especially if I'm doing Grand Prix and all my focus has to be on that. I've also been training up my Friesian's Responsiveness, but I have no idea if that has anything to do with how much you pull the reins.

It might be because your horses are hot-tempered. If they have the fire symbol, that means they're hot-tempered. If they have the snowflake symbol, that means they're cold-tempered. Hot-tempered horses like to automatically speed up, while cold-tempered horses like to slow down. I don't know your horses, though, but that's the best explanation I can give, and I'm really bad at explaining things ^^;. Hope I was able to help, though!

@@trin_theequestrian The symbols should show up in your horse's information, right where their personality trait symbols are. I'd show a photo, except youtube comments don't allow that, so I can only try to explain things. ^^;

Retirement is not implemented, right now. And as of currently, no one knows exactly when it will be. The developers want to focus more on working on the game's controls and probably dressage, next.

I would love to have a Grand Prix Friesian! That might have to be a project for me to do...after I complete all my other projects, lol!

@@little_emjei So my friesian turned out bay! Trained him up really quick and got him to GP! But now with the new season he cant make the GP anymore cause he knocks everything :/

I just crossbreed with Friesians and hope for the best, since the breeding results are randomized.

All I can really is to have a horse or pony who has a potential of over 600 or 500, and they their stats are trained up enough, then keep trying with the competitions. I'm sorry...I'm really bad at explaining things ^^;.

I actually do that when it comes to the more difficult competitions! Took me a while to figure it out, lol! As for the feed, I honestly don't use them. I use the carrots. I know, a bit of a waste since carrots are valuable, lol! It might just be me, but the feeds don't really do very much, and that's why I use the carrots, instead ^^;.

I'll try to explain, but I'm really bad at it ^^;. My advise is to have a horse or pony with a potential of over 600. If that horse/pony has fairly high stats in jump, speed, and strength (mostly, jump and strength...speed does help, though), all you really need to do is enter the competitions enough times until you unlock the intermediate courses. I hope that helps! I'm really bad at explaining things, but I hope I made sense, somehow, lol!

I might do a small one in the next video. I'm just trying to figure out what to do as the main goal for said video, lol! Not easy when you're supposed to be focusing on packing and moving xD.

I only how to breed a chestnut Friesian, I'm sorry :(.... I never thought to try for any other colors for the breed, and unfortunately, I am very, very new at horse genetics, so for a palomino Friesian, I wouldn't know how to get one.

I am not sure about how to get any color for Friesians other than white, chestnut, and black. I'm sure that it is possible, but I've never done anything outside of black and chestnut. I'm sorry T-T!

You need to breed with a black Friesian with a gene of Ee. Well, have 2 Friesians, first, of course...but one has to have the gene of Ee. If both Friesians have EE, it will not work and you will only get the black color. But Ee will give you the chance of getting a chestnut Friesian. In my experience, my chances are usually 50% black and 50% chestnut. That is the best I can explain this sort of thing as I am no pro about genes, lol! I hope this helps, though! ^_^

Manually training them raises their potential until they hit their max. That's all I can really say...I'm really bad at explaining things, I'm sorry ^^;
