Our mission is to create sustainable access to timely, high-quality, and affordable radiation treatment for cancer in limited-resource settings globally.
RCC runs telehealth educational sessions which each focus on a unique radiation oncology treatment technique. We recruit experts in the field to create a longitudinal curriculum consisting of several sessions and recruit regional cancer centers in LMICs to participate in the training. The curriculum not only trains clinics to practice excellence in new radiotherapy treatment techniques but also empowers them to become local regional training centers. The sessions run once or twice a week through live Zoom® video conferences. At each session, the educator shares a presentation on the specific weekly topic, allowing for the participating centers to ask questions and clarify concepts. This is a unique opportunity for educators to help address the global knowledge gaps that exist in radiation oncology techniques, with the opportunity

Radiobiology Review with Professor Oak: Part 2
What is there to know about Radiobiology? Sometimes this is the hardest part of learning radiobiology... you don't know what there is to learn or what is important, and you get lost in 1 fragmented lecture at a time.
For all who want to fill their gaps in Radiobiology knowledge, this video is intended to teach you the things there are to learn about in residency. This grand, practical overview is solely for educational purposes. We will cover all of the relevant radiobiology there is to know for radiation oncologists in 2 videos. This is Part 2, covering more clinically relevant topics.
Disclaimer: This is considered near-peer teaching, taught from the perspective of a clinician to another clinician. Professor Oak is not a radiobiologist and does not claim anything more than superficial knowledge and experience. But he can introduce things, and he hopes to empower you on your journey!

Although the quality of the recording is questionable, still one of the best session so far. I love how Mustefa Mohammedsaid is brutally honest, empathetic and crazy knowledgeable at the same time. Big Thanks for uploading!
deep thanks how can contact?
As someone with no medical background whatsoever and currently going through RT, I found this fascinating and well explained. Thanks!
You seems to be a great teacher, now the font size is too minimal 😢😢
Thank you, yes the font is small and is meant to show how notes can be organized. Feel free to take screen shots and to copy notes. I recommend watching on a computer so the screen is bigger. Or if you watch on a phone, then you can zoom in on the text while the video is playing to follow along. If you happen to be using a mac computer, then this software is amazing and let's you take screen shots that automatically copy the text so you can paste just the text: textsniper.app/ There may be alternative versions for windows computers. Very helpful to be more efficient in the modern era of learning.
Super educational and helpful!! Love it
Maybe don't watermark over the radiology slides
شكرا جزيلا عاشت ايدكم ❤
Very good
Can I get this document pdf?
Good morning all I personally felt agressive screening of general population in female gender to identify early stage Ca CX is very important to implement simple images, CT,techniques and non complex process for achieving good results .by combination of EBRT and BT plus CDDP
Good to come back to this in 2024. Always worth watching. Thank you RCC and Dr. Petric.
thank you for your dedication and help us.. very formative and attractive🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Thank you everyone, we're glad this video is helpful! If you have 1 minute and would consider providing us with your feedback in this form, we would be very appreciative: bit.ly/breastcontourvideo Together we raise against cancer!
Your logo is covering the screen. Not able to understand the ct with the logo behind!
Wow! I like it. The explanations were really clear and insightful. Thank you professor Dempsy .
Hello sir. How can I apply my S(clin), for example, I measured FWHM(inplane) and FWHM(crossplane) and S(clin)=1,277 cm. But in trs 483 there are S(clin) of 1.2 cm and 1.5 cm. Thank you sir.
amazing, thank you
This was very helpful. Are you able to share the NTO sheet? I completely understand if it's proprietary information. Thank you.
Is it called Sorbo applicator also?
Great thanks, but what happened to the voice? It sounds like only one lady talking in the whole video. cannot recognize who is speaking.
IMRT is thing of the past
hi is it possible to obtain this spreadsheet for our clinical daily use?
Thank you
Great presentation, very well detailed
Thanks a lot..
Perfect!
Another important RCC Masterclass. Needed knowledge on contouring away from skin for whole breast. Got the answer with PTV_eval. Thank you RCC.
Very detailed and well descibed my thanks for the effort
Thank you!
Nice work, Keep the flag flying high
Im interested to know the name of the software bro Can you share the software name
Glad the video can be helpful! This is with the MIM system.
You are doing an incredible job. Thank you.
Do you have this presentation in English?
Wonderful!!!! your contouring system is quite easier than ours,,,, very much helpful, THANK YOU!!
Very insightful lecture...again! Particularly learnt something new on the vaginal ITV question. Quite important to know when overlapping contours with OARs is not a major concern.
Hello, thank you for this great video. I have a question concerning the BED calculation examples early in the video (around the 14 and 20 minute mark). The thing I don't understand is that we are discussing normal tissue complications while determining the dose per fraction that is prescribed and delivered to the tumor. In the second example (20 minute mark) the 35 Gy in 5 fractions is the prescription to the PTV so how can we evaluate the toxicity to the normal tissue if we are only talking in terms of the absorbed dose to the tumor? Thanks!
This is a masterclass, not just for the Radiation Oncologists, but also for the Medical PhysicistS. I have found it very useful in my practice in the last one month, to upskill my Medical Physics pelvis contouring and treatment planning.
Thank you.
Little bite annoying to se your logo (RCC) covering the whole screen. It (RCC logo) covers CT-scan images making it difficult to see. May be you can put your logo in one corner of the screen instead.
I was looking for OAR contouring of the penile bulb, and stumbled on this. Thank you for the lecture, @RCC. It was very detailed.
Great lecture! Are you able to upload the slideshow in a PDF or link?
great talk
Thanks
Nicely explained😊. How do i get the ppt and excell sheet?
Thank you for teaching for free, lots of books hide these explanations behind $500 paywalls
Nice which program do you use? You say in less than 10 min. but you are clearly busy for 40 min.? What do I miss?
Haha sharp ears! The video took longer to film while talking and contouring, so clearly we underestimated the video length at the beginning. You haven't missed a thing :) This is with the MIM contouring system.
Can I get those spreadsheets from somewhere?
Cesar impecable como siempre. Fantástico
