B-29 DOC flew into Statesville for two days. I filmed it for an hour waiting for it to start its engines. Just as it started moving to take off my camera battery went dead. By the time I got a new battery inserted it was already in the air. Still got some good shots of one of the last two B-29's flying.

This is awful. The vocalist (with no range or any real emotion) sounds like a gut-shot dog, the lyrics are pathetic, ignorant & misogynistic & the overall feeling listening to this nonsense is nausea. This is a long, long way from the first festival in '70. My last comment was taken down so I am adding a new comment. Let's see if anyone has the balls to leave it up.

Do you know roughly what year this is from? Willard was my grandfather's best friend. You still live on Wildcat Road?
@@kennethpowers7220 Ah, I would have been 4 or 5 at that time. Willard sure was a great guy and friend. Did you ever meet Arnold Watson? He was my Grandfather. We lived just a little ways down Wildcat from Willard. Just down past the log cabin that (i assume) Wilard was talking about in this video. The owner of that cabin was always known as the "Florida Man" lol. I spent several summers hanging out with his grandson.
Proud to know these gents, and to play with them, too.
I was blessed to have met Mr & Mrs Watson on 2 different occasions with my late brother. Wonderful and kind people. Loved visiting with them.
