Elling Yachts
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 18 ธ.ค. 2013
The Company was founded in 1972, and was one of the first GRP boat builders in the world.
20 Years ago, Neptunus started to develop a complete new production method and totally different philosohy. Six years of development later, Neptunus launched the first Elling Motoryacht. The model was based on over one hundred concept demands, gathered from thousands of water sports enthusiasts from around the world.
The company rebranded itself and changed their name into Neptune Marine Shipbuilding bv and production commenced ....
Never before was more time and money invested in the production of only one model motorboat. The boat, just under 15 metre, was designed according the prestigious CE- design category A: Ocean going and self-righting !!! (in 2008, three Elling owners successfully crossed the Atlantic Ocean in only 16 days with three Ellings)
Now, the Elling has done the utlimate test!

Timeless design beautiful boat😍
What impressed me was Seaworthiness, maneuverability, docking with one person, and then there is that dual hull, incredible fuel efficiency, but also the ability to get up and move when desired. This is an incredible yacht, at a very reasonable price. Question, is the Hull painted or gel coat? Can we get changes for warmer climates? Ie deck seating and overhead canopies? Cheers from Toronto
contact neptune marine shipyard in the netherlands to make it fully custom. Your welcome
Looks like a gussied up 45' pilot boat to me.

Do you constantly need to run the generator to use the seakeeper or is there enough power provided from the inverter?

Wow.

Ozellikle Türk alıcılara seslenmek istiyorum, tekne hakında yorumu sonraya birakiyorum bu tekneden almak istiyorsanız kesinlikle müdür Anton van da Bos'a güvenmeyin odeme yapmadan tüm aksesuar ve ekstralarınızın tamam oldugundan emin olun. Bu uyarıyı neden yaptıgımı bir gerçekle açıkliyacagım. Türkiye distribitürü olarak aldıgım Neptunuz 58 hard top teknenin parasının tamamını Anton Van de Bos'a odedim ancak tekne Istanbula geldiginde arka platform teek ve çiller klimanın takılmadıgını gordüm ve bu güne kadar odedeigim padamı iade etmediler. aman ANTON VAN DE BOS A Dikkat
Would the boat run if it was just normally sealed up for 6-8 ft seas and it was flipped?
You're not going to be crossing an ocean in this boat though. What happens when (not if) you have a critical issue in the auxiliary equipment room or tender garage during a storm in the middle of the ocean? You're sunk. But short of major ocean crossings, it does look like a very nice boat, and is really on my wish list if i ever had the money. Nice equipment set too. I suppose the only change i'd really make would be to slightly redesign the helm to fit a third large display. I like the redesigned pony engine prop shaft too, looks maybe a little less vulnerable to underwater debris.
But i suppose you could still cross an ocean if you were able to break it up into small 1-2 day segments, and were in no hurry so that you could wait for good weather for each segment. Btw, there is one video with a fair number of engine compartment shots on vimeo.
Ridiculous comment made by someone that has no clue what he is talking about.
this is category A boat it means it can crossing ocean. if a 35' sail boat can sail through A & P why not this 65' er ? as like you say " if " all issues come up, well, that is God's will !
Crossing from the Azores to Bermuda is 1900 nm. The E6 could do it in 20+ days with fuel to spare. Lots of space on board for supplies. Watermaker needed, but they're no problem. The E6 has an auxiliary engine so if the main unit fails you can still get across, or turn back. The E6 will tolerate big seas, so if you avoid hurricane season you'll most likely be fine. But any vessel of any size can have catastrophic problems. If a 65' Fleming can go from Vancouver to Europe then a 65' self-righting E6 can cross the Atlantic.
What about the engine and access ?
Another video with no footage of access to engine room
@Elling Yachts @gerard haubert Saw a video in Russian at a boat show where they show the access. It's requires the removal of two panels in the kitchen (under the work area across from the stove/sink). Looks like there is almost zero access around the engine. My wife would love the fact of pulling those panels to do the daily/monthly checks IN HER KITCHEN. She'd completely lose it when it came time to change the oil and filters. Please tell me there is an easier way.
Why are they so shy about showing engine access? How is daily maintenance performed? Rarely is “get home engine “ mentioed
Красавица!!!
She's just lovely. I wouldn't personally trim my helm in carbon fiber, but of course that's just me.
Classic beauty! ➰🌹➰
If I had the money this is the boat that I would buy no question...
only about $ 2 M USD
