Nice!!! I actually ended up keeping the Z9 but I love them both. Which lens do you like best and why?

@@aimhighphotography Yeah get the Prograde type B 4.0 and you wouldn't be having that issue especially at 4k24p.

aw man..sorry to hear about that. But yeah, sometimes that is how it goes sometimes. But at least you still have the Z9...I actually didn't end up selling mine after all, so I still have both. 😀thanks Richard for commenting. Yes the Z8 is a very nice camera! I've decided to use it for my event photography and main TH-cam video camera...and occasionally if I need to record the EVF. Yes the flip screen could be better...I have just got use to the way it is...thanks again for watching...😀 (responded in 7 hours)

Thanks Frank...I appreciate that. Yes, you're right, I love my Z8. But what's funny is...that I still love my Z9(the guy backed out and didn't buy it, so I still have it😀). But I also love my Z7ii. So what I did was...I created a use case for all 3 cameras. This way, I can not favor a particular camera, lol. How are you liking your Z63?(responded in <10 minutes)

@@aimhighphotography I do like the smaller size. Not a big advantage but I needed something to replace my original z6. I do like the III but Z8 hands down is my go to for birding.

@@aimhighphotography I have older Nikon 750, 810. I’m using Fuji xt4 for filming and it has overheated once or twice but I mostly film for short bursts and let the camera cool off 😅 I guess maybe an external battery solution could help or if it’s the memory cards overheating it’s harder to fix. The Z9 probably handles the overload better because of bigger better batteries, or maybe it’s a firmware thing…

@@CPSWEDEN thanks CP…Yeah, you may be right because my Z9 has NEVER overheated. And I’ve shot longer videos and complete basketball games with my Z9. Hopefully Nikon will fix this issue😀. Thanks.

There are alot of videos on this topic this issue happened for me when shooting at 60fps. My workaround was to buy a prograde 1tb CF express B card as well as running a usbc cord from the battery to my smallrig vmount 99 battery. I found this issue mostly went away with the prograde card though oh and when shooting hand held leave the battery door open if possible.

@@TEN21Portraits wow… I have the exact same issues. The battery issue does suck but I too use the v mount battery so it’s not an issue anymore. As for the overheating, I don’t shoot videos with this camera much except for my TH-cam which is usually only 20 minutes max. I’m sure Nikon will eventually resolve this issue with a greate for firmware update(I hope). Thanks for commenting 😀

😂 wow! Yeah the Z5 is also a great camera. Plus when you use the new S Line lenses, omg, it’s great !!! But you are also right, the Z9 is the best…I actually decided to keep it and not sell it. And I’m glad I did 😂. I really love the size of the Z9 , especially not that I’ve reduced the weight. What’s your goto lens? Thanks for commenting! 😊

@@aimhighphotography Yes, the z5 is pretty good, surprisingly. Lol. I shoot daily short videos for a small Christian ministry, so I mainly use the native 24-70 f2.8 S on the z9. But I do own the other two natives in this trio, the 14-24 f2.8 S and the 70-200 f2.8 S. The 24-70 f4 S stays full time on the z5 as I accidentally threw away the boxes that I kept the lens and camera caps in. Lol.

Great question but I can't comment on the Godox because I never had one. But what I can say, "Is a first glance the Godox Field Monitor looks "Cheap" in quality and lacks enough reviews on Amazon compared to the Shinobi and the other products by Atomos. I would go with experience over price". So buy right the 1st time and spend the extra money...I believe you will be very happy...THANKS FOR COMMENTING! (Responded in 7 hours). 😀

I feel ya...but for me, I'm already holding the camera...my fingers are literally on the shutter(thumb) and my pointer finger is almost touching the aperture dial. But I feel ya. But man, the brightness is insane! How is the gimbal? I'm thinking about getting one but man I have so many GoPro's and they would probably goto waste, if I get the gimbal, lol.

You are sooo right...(technically the Z9 is better). But that depends on your view point and need. The Z9 has the vertical grip, longer battery life, an extra function button, 2 CF express cards and also has a better feel in the hand(to me). The Z8 is lighter, uses the more affordable SD card but still has a CF Express card but also has 2 usb c ports, one for data transfer and the other for charging. So depending on what is important to you, the Z9 could be better for you or but also the Z8 could be better for you. By the way, i still have the Z9, lol. The guy that was going to buy it, backed out, which turned out to be a good thing for me, 😀 Thanks for watching! Yo Yo Yo!

@@clearsailing7993 Great! The Z5 and Z63 are both great options! I love my Z5 but the processor from the Z63 is probably worth the extra cost if it’s in your budget. I also still love my Z72 with the 45 mega pixels, so you may wanna consider that one also. Too many good choices out there😂. Thanks for watching! 😊

If all you shoot are forest and landscape, I recommend the Z7 or Z7ii which are both under the price of the Z6iii.

Nygel, thanks for commenting...I haven't had any issues so far with overheating. I mainly use my GoPro's for video and I take pictures with my Nikons. And if I do decide to use it for video, I shoot at 4k60 on all of my camera platforms both GoPro and Nikon...this is my ideal video setting to keep away any overheating possibilities. Thanks! 😀

Never understood why they made it mostly out of thermoplastic, which is a bad choice for heat dissipation. They can absorb heat but are poor at conducting it. With metal it acts like a heatsink almost pulling heat away from the internals.

Highly doubt you’re on the level. Or maybe you got a faulty unit.

I have old Nikon batteries that work, third party, and new one. All batteries work perfectly. And never had it overheat. No issues with my memory cards and SD cards. Sounds like you had a faulty unit or made it all up
