I bought an AGELOCER Turbillon. It took 28 days to arrive and when it did it was running several hours a day fast. I checked and it's not magnetized. I sent their customer service and video of it and they replied with this Thank you for providing your order number and the video. Based on our initial assessment, there doesn't appear to be a significant quality issue with the watch. If there's a large time discrepancy, it may be due to the watch being impacted during transport, which could have displaced the balance spring speed regulator clamp. "We recommend taking it to a local watch repair shop for calibration. We can cover $20-$30 of the repair costs as compensation. Please let us know how you would like to proceed!" Thing is, I don't have a local watchmaker and I can't find anyone who will even look at a Turbillon. They said it could send it back for repair but that would cost $169. So it just sits on my table.

The NB1062-17W by Citizen is the most beautiful green dial I have ever seen you can still find it just under $1k only 300 made I believe. Also there’s someone selling a green C65 Aquitaine CW with green strap on Reddit CW subreddit now for $750 used.

The. Benjamin James is really nice. Im generally not a fan of integrated bracelets but could make an exception. As you mentioned tho seems hard to actually buy. I hadn't heard of them before so cheers. I've joined their mailing list to stay tuned. The Christopher ward is also very nice..and tho I'm familiar with the brand the is 1st 1 of theirs thats caught my eye. Some really nice shots in the vid. Excellent job.

I own the red one and paid 27 GBP (after discount). It keeps time quite accurately and is waterproof. I actually enjoy wearing it so far. It'll be interesting to see how it stands the test of time.

Chinese or not, I haven't got any problem with any of my Chinese watches for these past 10 years as they are still doing fine and as a humble watch collector, recently, I'm seeing myself being more attracted to Chinese watches because I get value for money and each brand that I buy gives to me a different taste as they are indeed very beautiful pieces. They are very affordable and I wear a different watch brand for different dress code wherever I go. They are also head turners as very often, people have asked me from where I bought them as they are indeed very beautiful. For me, It's just a matter of taste and what you are looking for in the watch you buy. Aside of all these, I'm very selective about my Chinese watches as I don't buy many buy few which are of quality.

Believe it or not, I have this exact watch but it runs at 28800 and I don't recognize the movement even after taking the case back off and regulating it. Maybe they just put in the wrong movement? In any event I got a well regulated hi-beat movement for a pittance..

Hmm looks orange to me! Not sure I understand your strategy, unless you're looking to buy the more expensive watch from AE. Any online dealer will let you keep the watch for at least a couple of weeks after you've bought it and return it (intact) if you don't like it.

I had this exact watch in the same color, but I sold it. The case on this one is not stainless steel but plated alloy, there is no lume and it came with scratches on one side of the case and on the bracelet in-between the endlink and the next link. The biggest issue was that the bracelet had very sharp edges, I couldn't wear it. I sold it for very cheap, just so someone would use it. The color was interesting and much more red than in the video but that was about it. The rotor on the movement was nice but you could see the plastic spacer ring around it and it made it look cheap.

For the peanuts this costs, im tempted to give 1 a go. For the reasons you mentioned...just to see how that look/vibrant colors suits.

Never liked a Benyar but maybe I'd give the 5140 a shot.

Addiesdive AD2071 Automatic (NH35) has a killer red dial but it will cost you 80 quid. It is a better watch than the Benyar in this video but it is a bit thick.

I very much dislike the case shape of the Boderry. It looks somehow better on pictures than real-life. It's not a good looking watch in my eyes. The RZE Resolute Pro, which I also own, is absolutely fantastic. The only thing I would change about that watch would be making the marker at the 12 o'clock position a bit slimmer. The watch is quite a bit darker in color than the renderings on the website may suggest. The real-life pictures are more accurate. If the somewhat brutalist case shape appeals to you, then this is a no-brainer. It has become my second most worn watch.

Hey dude, late to the party, kinda sick. I'd like to recommend 3 watches I've seen lately you'll probably dig as much as I do. De Bethune Purple Rain, Karl Leimon Classic Field (in green), and Kuoe Sombrero, their first take on a dive watch (38mm!). Great video, btw.

Another great video thanks. Just my opinion. White dials as you explained have strengths ..versatility, clean look. On the downside imo theres no pop. Nothing eye-catching..not with the 1s shown in this vid anyway Perhaps with a gold case / bracelet there would be more "pop' Or in higher end watches with more texure etc to dials / and do fancier cases.
