Are these plastic or glass ? I had a hard time with the plastic paint drying. It would run on one side and not fully coat all sides so I added more paint.

On round 4, if I put a single crochet in the same space as the chain 1, I have 37 stitches instead of 36. In the previous rounds, the chain stitch has counted as a stitch. Am I missing something? Thanks!
