Love the aggressive look and functionality of this package! Hope to see these fully equipped in showrooms from the factory and not just a parts package available through HRC.

This was my first #autocross event with my #11thgen #honda #civic si. It was an awesome first experience at North Hills Sports Car Club excited to get out and do more events. I ran the car in the street GS class on stock all seasons. They held up well but definitely need some sticky rubber. How to make a civic even more expensive
No Sound??
Unfortunately there was no sound for this press video
Step 5 please for the love of god clean that engine bay 😂
We got lucky with the weather
When a 0-60 video?
Do you still have the si? And how do you like it? Thinking about getting the new 2025 one with the digital dash and heated seats, it's between the si and the wrx
Yup I still do, and I would highly recommend the car. I was between the si and wrx. With that being said I’m glad I chose the si
I have the same in 2024 the headlights and mesh grill are my favorite and I think it looks so mean in black pearl best imo looks aggressive
Beautiful Si !!!!! Love it. nice run too :)
Thank you!
I had a question regarding the seats I bought a 2024 Si and I recently went a a total of 4hr road trip and the lower bolsters on the seats working the clutch was just bulging into the back of my leg almost behind my knee cap next day the side of my leg was sore, I'm curious if that breaks in over time gets softer ? It's uncomfortable I'm always proping my left leg up like to ease the pressure and I want to enjoy my Si on long road trips lol
I can say I have not experienced any issues like that, might just be that we sit in the seat differently. But I will say I have not noticed the seat chance (wear/break-in) at all during my ownership
I miss my Type S. But, fell in love with the Civic. Still a decent run though.
Im curious if you are experiencing jerking between 1st-2nd gears when letting off the clutch when city driving? At stop lights/sign takng off? I just purchased a 2024 Si and from a stop and go I cant find the sweet spot with the Rev Hang these cars have on 1st and 2nd gear unless its shifted under 2k but at that point you got people riding your bumper. Im just curious trying keep it smooth like the rest of the gears.
Sometimes it’s kinda tough to be consistently smooth with the 1-2 do the throttle mapping with the car. In bumper to bumper traffic I find it easier to drive in sport mode. It’ll take less throttle to get the car moving, so you can kinda be smoother.
I also experience this. I cannot find the sweet spot. Its frustrating.
@@chrismccloskey267 Sport mode does help out, but I think I'm getting used to it until someone is in the passenger seat lol and I see how much body movement and how much their head moves back and fourth shifting from 1st to 2nd, but I am going to try out the PRL rear motor mount hopefully it helps out.
I’ve got the 2024 Civic Si.. don’t feel to bad about the wireless charger.. we have it here in Canada and it sucks.. at least from my experience it sucks.. heats up my phone to the point of shutting it down because of over heating
Hows everyones clutch point? My clutch hits waaaaay high up in the peddle
It should not be leaking oil with that low of mileage.. 2012 My accord made it to 150k before having a valve cover leak. Hopefully it is not a persistent issue.
I replace the two filters B4 taking mine in for service. They can't recommend changing it or screw with my warranty because I said no.
Got nothing to say but I just wanted to let you know I really appreciate this video. Need more long ownership pov drives
Thanks for watching! Just finished putting a new radiator along with some other things on the car so hopefully more videos to come
I've owned lots of Hondas and one Integra GSR, which I mistakenly sold😢. I've always wanted an Si. Seems the new Integra A-Spec might tick a few more boxes though.
People advised (reddit people) that the insurance might be a bit more on the integra because of the extra tech.
25k miles and oil is seeping from under the head. Another youtuber had a leaky trunk and a bolt fell out from his manual transmission bell housing. Honda Civic prices increase and the quality keeps going down
Unfortunately seems to be the case. I have an Acura RSX with 250k miles still going strong on the original motor no leaks or issues
is that stock exhaust?
Yes, full stock exhaust
Great video with great road noise as background noise
Nice vid. I've done 3 events in my '23 Si. First two with the stock tires--I got so annoyed with them that I left the second event at lunch. Last weekend I debuted my Bridgestone RE71RS in stock size. I hadn't autocrossed in a while but those tires made it a lot of fun--they really stick. I didn't video anything but I will probably next time out, using Track Addict on my iPhone. I subscribed to your channel; looking forward to more Si autocross vids.
Appreciate the support! Yeah stock tires gotta go. I’m in search for some Acura TL wheels to throw a set of track tires on. Will be posting a video shortly with updates. Glad to hear other si owners out there enjoying!
That was pretty damn good for a stock car on stock tires!🙌🔥 making me want to go
Need to get you out there man! It’s a good time
@@cardosedaily definitely need to!
How’s the car been treating you? Any problems with engine? Just curious cause I’m looking to get one at the end of the year. Keep up the awesome vids👍
Appreciate it! Car has been good to me. I’ve only had a few minor issues (door speaker, valve cover leak and steering rack issue). I wouldn’t really say anything I’ve experienced is a reason to not get one, I’d still choose it over other cars in the segment. I have some videos explaining some of the issues I’ve seen if you’re interested.
How do you know where to go? All the cones all over the place makes it look super confusing.
After walking through the course a few time you get an idea of where to go
Its not as confusing in real life cause you can see farther then a video makes you believe
Pretty cool dude!!
Appreciate it!
Just got my 24 si and I love it! 👍🏻👍🏻
Congrats!!
Stock Speakers are fire in that car too
They do sound pretty good!
Yikes…I had a 23 Touring fully loaded, and I couldnt even Enjoy the bose sound system bc the bass had to be turned down below half way to keep all the cheap door plastic from rattling 😢
Nice. I have a 2024 civic si in rallye red
15.7? You need some more practice, bro
Whatchu think it’s gonna run stock 10s? Lol
if Honda advertises 14.9, theres definitlely room for improvement, grasshopper
Mid 14s are tuned 11th gen Si numbers. I haven’t seen any Honda official claims for 11th gen 1/4 mile times. Car and Driver reported they got 15.3 on summer tires. I was on all seasons and not launching hard, still managed a 15.5 launching soft around 3k rpms.
Nineth gen si gears never get hard
Thanks for sharing the pics from the Heritage center! Did you ever consider a GTI manual or cross shopped it ? Will appreciate some thoughts.
I did consider it but I will say it wasn’t high on my list. My top contenders were the Si or Subaru STI. The GTI is a very nice car and would have more luxury features compared to the Si but I can’t comment on driving characteristics since I’ve never driven one.
i drove a GTI and the Si feels more connected to the road, slash more fun. GTI has more power but for some reason it's not as fun. plus it's a VW, f*ck that noise
U kinda look like if kyrie Irving and Damian Lillard had a kid lol
No sticky steering?
I have a 22 Si. It's having the steering rack replaced for the second time already. I only have 46k miles. Sticky steering started around 37k the again at 46.
I have experienced the steering issue for a while. It hasn’t bothered me enough to get it looked at but I plan on it before my warranty is up.
Do you guys live in places that have colder climates?
FYI, you don't need to remove the hose clamp, meaning you don't need any tools. th-cam.com/video/4ziSY7xxkKQ/w-d-xo.html
How do you get the screen like that?
Go into the screen display settings. There are different options for screensavers.
1.5turbo < 2.0
Not everyone has 50k+ laying around for a type r.
@@Virt7_ I think hes saying the NA 2.0, id like to hear the argument for that one
This is my daily. Absolute most fun car I've ever owned. Almost purchased a type R last week but they want over 50k and the clutch is heavy, hard pass at that price.
$130 to change a simple air filter? what kinda crack head prices are those. K&N Filter is like 50-60 or like $20 if you buy regular brand.
lol for real. Just changed it out with an oem one for $30. Took 5 min to change. Will have a new video out soon of that
2:30 I love my PRL intake, put the silicone tube on. Valve cover oil leak is either a design defect with gasket/mating surface OR PCV system has too much pressure/flow. 5:00 you don`t have hondata yet? It is genius, you can tune just about everything. Can delete auto-off, traction control, rev limit. Yea it`s genius. I have PRL intake and hondata stage 1 (+25hp) tune on factory all season tires...which break traction regularly. I am satisfied with SI performance on AS tires, PLUS that helps protect drivetrain. Running a sticky tire stresses drivetrain, I wanted sticky tires right away-but after 10K miles I can say happy with AS tires. I have 27won downpipe NIB, not going to install that. Going to install PRL intercooler soon, had IC and DP for a year. Brakes and brake fluid would be next, but I don`t see a point...OEM brakes are great for street. 6:12 Costco was wipers for less that $50 total..
First off thanks for watching the video! I appreciate the feedback. I think next will for sure be the PRL intake along with the Remark exhaust and Ktuner. I took have been itching for some better tires but I am in the process of building my Acura RSX to be a street/track car so I think I’ll stick to the AS tires as well. Haven’t been a huge fan of the Goodyears I think I’m going to go Michelin when these are worn out. I misspoke about the wipers and they only cost me $60 for the pair, idk why in the moment I even thought that was the correct amount lol.
If you plan on driving hard or going to the track, I recommend track pads and racing brake fluid. Totally fine to daily but will withstand the heat
In my best Stalone voice - ABSOLUTELY! What pads??? Fluid is easy to figure out.
Careful for transmission no dumping the clutch unless you don’t want to own the car longer than a couple years
Scuba Steve doin car vids now!
How did you get ASIMO on the infotainment?? I need this!
Hahah it’s in the display settings
Fun ummm yea its slow asf my guy
Any steps you took to keep the car healthy? I'm looking at a local RSX Type-S with high mileage (214k miles) and worried there is not much I can do to make it last.
Just keep up with regular maintenance specifically change the oil regularly and treat the car right. I got mine about 8 years ago with about 215k miles. Still runs strong
Congrats on hitting 25K kms/miles. Just crossed the 20K mark on my 22 Si as well, although i got the car at 12K, so I'd say ive put 8K kms personally on it. Just went in for 1st oil service, and tyre swap to winters and i was told that i might be due for brake service inspection at the 20K kms mark and i was like ok, so still observing. The alignment on the summer tyres was a bit off, so steering leaned to the right and i had to constantly adjust and my back hurt after driving the car for a while. Durig the oil service, I got the alignment redone on the winters, & i hope i can sit and cruise with one hand on the steering while on 6th gear like you without having to constantly compensate for the car veering off course or the steering positioned in the wrong place everytime. Regarding the PRL intake, would installing it void your warranty as well? Or you don't mind it for that bit of slight performance?
Hope you’re enjoying your Si. The PRL intake could cause issues with warranty depending on the type of failure you experience and are trying to get repaired.
@cardosedaily yeah I am. Been my best car yet. Since it's not mechanically changing the engine or other part of the car, why should it void the warranty man?
If intakes aren’t set up properly they can alter air fuel trims. Not saying they would blame anything on this but never know.
@cardosedaily ah. Now that makes sense. How are you going about yours? Have you paid òut the entire car & going ahead with the mods without bothering on the warranty?
sometimes the crackling comes from the piped in engine sound.
Did you find a fix? I think I found out that it’s the back child seat latch that’s making the noise. I’m going to try to put something in there
Traded in a ‘17 Mustang GT 10 months ago for a my ‘23 Si. The car has been a joy. No issues. Great transmission, buttery smooth (I only drive manuals). Acuity bushings made it even better. Installed a Remark cat back exhaust, adds to the fun. Biggest repair was replacing the windshield after a rock strike. Great car. Got my eye on the Supra, now that it has manual transmission. My first Honda. I am totally impressed at what you get for the money.
Glad you’re liking the Si so far. Remark will be my choice of exhaust for the car too. Supra would be a fun car to have. I’d like to drive one and make a review on it.
I have a 23 SI and I got my eye on a 10 speed mustang but I am concerned about dailying a mustang. The SI is just such a convenient daily. Sporty, manual, turbo, 4 doors, and its a honda.
@@powerstroketurbo95 I came to the Si after back to back 5.0 Mustangs, ‘14 and then ‘17. It’s great daily driver if you can get past the low gas mileage. If you get one, you’ll love it. The ‘24 Mustang is a game changer. I might get another one, but I looking hard at the Supra, and also the new Z.
That's cool. Why not explore the GR86 before you leave the Supra
@@1anre I actually had a deposit on a GR86, that was really the car I wanted. I waited 10 months, the Si arrived first. So, I canceled the order. The Si will be paid off, so I’ll just just make that my daily and go after the Supra or the new Z.
I managed to get a 2.5 60’ resulting in 15.4 down here in southwest Florida with temperature at around 94-99 degrees. Stock 2020 X-Gen, 35psi tire pressure. So, watching your video bro you did a good job, but if you can work on the launch to lower your 60’ you’ll definitely get a better PB than even myself. Even though I’m late to this video by now you probably lowered that time already 😂
For sure a higher launch rpm would help the 60’. Unfortunately haven’t made it out this year to the track but after this video I launched a little harder (still not perfect) and managed to lower it some. Thanks for watching!
