That Date Everything indie game looks ridiculous and gross. I kept thinking of Brick saying, "I love Lamp!" in The Legend of Ron Burgundy Movie and someone saw that and said, "Finally, someone I can identify with! Let’s make that into a game."

Wow, there was not a lot there, was there? The only one I'm interested in is maybe the Castlevania collection, but I have others in the series to try first.

I am getting kinda sick of everybody calling this a "2D" game. Having a fixed camera in an overhead perspective *doesn't make this 2D.* Now, clearly this has 3D graphics. But it doesn't have 2D gameplay, either, because it has a functional Z axis. You can sail over gaps, you can stack echoes to gain height, and enemies probably adhere to 3D hitboxes. Perhaps you don't care whether 2D graphics still exist, but stop calling 3D games "2D." Call it retro, whimsical, stylized, chibi, top-down, or even fixed camera. Just not 2D.

I agree with this some are improved (Like I absolutely love a lot of the Boss Remixes and the Area-Based Battle Remixes like how Origami King had it's Battle Theme remixed per streamer/world) while others felt a bit more discordant almost? Like they have no Rhythm or seem like they keep losing their original Rhythm and keep going on and off track

My most anticipated game for this year is Elden Ring's DLC..... I think that is the best "Gaming Experience of the Year" for me..... However, as a Nintendo/ Zelda fan as well.... I am really look forward to this game....All gamers in general, are FEASTING nowadays

When I saw the first trailer and people were saying you could play as Link, I thought it would just be during the into that we saw (simmilar to exploring hyrule castle in TotK with full heath and Master sword) until link is swallowed up in the rift and you play as Zelda for the rest of the game. I would be fine if that is the case. However, I think I would be cool if we occasiaonally switched back to Link in the Shadow Hyrule after Zelda progresses far enough in the game to unlock more progress for Link to continue or something. It would be cool for her to unlock Items/Echos/Dungeons that open up the map for Link on the other side or something amd then he needs to do something that refelcts in Zelda's world to help her progress. It would be awesome if end fight against Gannon is a tag team fight where Zelda hits him to make him vulnerable for Link to deliver a blow in the rift world or something. IDK. As far as linear progression in the game, I think they will go the route of "A Link Between Worlds" where you still have to do A B and C before D, but the order your do A B and C in can be different based on the Items/Echos you choose to get first. Also, the echos and binding/reverse binding lend for various methods and strategies to accomplish the same tasks, much like what happened in BotW and TotK, which will be interesting to explore in a 2D Zelda game.

22 years after this game came out on the GameCube, it is still a masterpiece. But I cannot go back to the original GameCube controls. *_Dual stick with gyro aiming, or bust!_*

Ok seriously though, I just finished listening as I was driving this evening. Great review guys, lots of deep personal thoughts. The movie was excellent. I think we as adults do not feel Joy as much as children, but perhaps it makes our times of feeling joy so much more memorable when it does happen.

I came in thinking Justin would have had a small hand in some art I maybe saw playing Blizzard games. No way did I expect to see someone with a footprint and influence THIS big. It was a real treat having this all shown, absolutely enthralled by the stories and concept art. Thanks for the memories Justin, the wow zones you helped designed are still appreciated by the fans! ⚔️

The most fascinating thing about seeing all these concepts is how much gets lost in translation from the ‘ideas’ to fully playable game world. I don’t mean to be negative, it’s just a product of the process of making a functional game, of course. But man, so many of these pieces have such a magical property that didn’t make it to the released product. Very inspirational.

Dang, I missed the live stream! Metroid Prime 4 looks good. I hope they release the other Metroid entries remastered on Switch so I can finally play them before 4 comes out. "Legend of Link: Echos of Wisdom" looks really fun! Lol.

This sounds really good. Your production and instrumentation has a mixture of video game sounds as well as real instruments. It's a nice blend between both worlds

The answer is a gaming table that has a recessed area to play the game, and then you just put the table top back on when the session is over and leave everything setup.

Visions/The Mountain 10/10. Aquarius 9.5/10. These 3 are their top albums.
