I like to mix up drinks and want to share tips and tricks on how to make your own. My main aim is to give people a better knowledge of cocktails, whether they want to mix drinks up at home for their family and friends, or to simply give you inspiration to try a new drink next time you're out.
Aside from weekly how to tutorials, I want to branch out in the future to show bar builds, techniques and which equipment to buy, whilst providing you with the history and knowledge of how these cocktails were created.
Finally another subject I'm passionate about is to protect the bar, pub and nightclub industry, a lot of governments demonise night time industries, in order to line their landlord friends pockets, this is an assault on our culture, for the past 15 years it's been soul destroying watching venues, being ripped down to build a new flat pack looking condominium for soulless people, or well established businesses moving on because the new inhabitants don't like it being there.

Where can I get rye whisky from ?
Best bet is online would try independent places like Diffords or other shops, then there is Whiskey Exchange, Amazon etc. The supermarkets around here might stock some brands, but I always see aisles full of Scotch and Bourbon, bring back the good old days when we had Wine Rack and Threshers.
More Mocktails please.
Noted, will look into it.
When I was a kid, they would order me a Roy Rogers and my sister a Shirley Temple.
I bet that’s quality with a decent grenadine, and obviously the full sugar coke.
I haven't heard of a Roy Rogers - Ive seen the Shirley a lot tho!
Neither did I, thinking of getting some Mexican Coca Cola in and another bottle of Grenadine. Will definitely do another Mocktail video in the future and include it.
A new years resolution of mine is to finally try out mixing as a hobby, and these feel like perfect ones to start with :] my gf is a big fan of the mocktails they have at Chili's n stuff so these'll be perfect!
That’s brilliant, it’s a great hobby to pick up, especially learning recipes, buying gear, then stocking up the bar which is a fun part, it’s one of those old practical skills which I hope people keep alive for future generations. Hope you both enjoy these!
A sabot was originally a wooden disc that was bound to a cannonball to improve the gas seal and improve performance. The British Army later developed the discarding sabot anti-tank round which consisted of a heavy core and a lighter, discardable section, to provide the gas seal. The word sabot is derived from the French word for a wooden clog. Fun fact, the word sabot is where we get sabotage from. French artisans would throw their wooden shoes into machinery in order to protest their replacement by machines, much as the Luddites did in the UK. Cocktail wise, that looks really good. As you said, a combination of a White Lady and a French 75. I wasn't planning on doing cocktails this Christmas, but I might just put this on the menu.
Excellent, thanks for more detail on history, great to find out more details on the name. These will be a great a treat at Christmas, good to try something different. Have a great Christmas too 👍
Great stuff - happy Christmas 🎅
Thanks and Happy Christmas to you too mate 🎄
Love it! Happy Christmas and thank you for keeping us all entertained and merry 🎄
Thanks Merry Christmas to you too. Will treat you to some drinks soon 🍸🎄
Awesome video - will be having these for Christmas
Cheers, give them a go, bet you’ll have the ingredients to make some White Russians at Christmas.
Your cocktail anthropomorphisms are world class. Happy holidays!
Cheers, I think it comes from passing the time, in dead end jobs as a teenager, then being stuck in serious and dour offices in my twenties. Thanks have a great Christmas/Holidays too.
I want all of these this Christmas 🤣
Thanks lot of booze to manage there.
Love the duo-tone look to it
Thanks. It works when layering it from a bottle rather than a jigger, the key is taking your time, I won’t mention the test batch…
Good Stuff
Thanks and Cheers.
Cheers! Keep up the great videos!
Thanks Sean plenty more on the Horizon and Cheers!
Excellent choice of cocktail to celebrate your 1st anniversary! Personally I like Kevin Crossman's Ultimate Mai Tai blend best but this is a fine combo for sure. Here's to many more years, cheers! 🥂
Thank you! I need to try that out, been meaning to buy some Smith & Cross so will check that out. Thousands of more cocktails to mix up and some bigger plans for the future! Cheers 🥂
Looks awesome - will be trying this
Thanks mate, can’t wait to try this with the homemade Groseille.
Awesome! love the video format
Thanks mate! Really liked the mystery theme, no one died of alcohol poisoning during the production either.
my advice would be to pass your part through adobe enhance speech (free) and do music imaging to banish it onto the sides to position your voice in the middle, bc the video is great, but the audio feels somewhat scuffed
Thanks for this advice much appreciated. Some friends, have mentioned the sound quality before, definitely need a new microphone, as working with clip on mic with iPhone, plus IMovie, so will look at Adobe Enhance thanks for your suggestion.
Looks awesome mate
Thanks mate, really happy with how this one worked out 👍

Thanks. Always good to see fellow Negroni fans on the channel 👍 I made an Enzoni video a few weeks ago, really liked it.
Love the simplicity of your videos, really easy to understand and very educative, bless your soul man!
Thanks mate! I try to keep them Straightforward, also step by step, as it’s an international crowd and I do have a strong accent:
This is also great with bourbon instead of gin.
Good idea, will try that out sometime, need to go bourbon shopping as well.
So essentially a Vodka Margarita. Gotta try what's like without the Tequila notes 🥂
Correct like a vodka margarita, the Kamikaze is more regarded as a shot cocktail these days. If you like Margarita’s my first video, I make two differently versions, the second one is quality, on the rocks, with the addition of Agave syrup and saline solution 👍
Excellent, right down my alley 👍🥂
Thanks, got plenty of more gin cocktails landing soon 👍
Essentially a gin sour with bitters added?
Nearly, swapping the egg whites for bitters, which is a plus in my opinion as it takes away the hassle of dry shaking, had way too many near misses with tins not sealed correctly 😂
Just remove the gin and add soda/tonic you have a delicious hydrating drink
Thanks that’s true, good for the day after, or mocktails.
Gotta love the algorithm. Will be trying this!
Thanks! The algorithm has been good to me today. Excellent that’s what I like to see.
Nice! Will be trying this! Always looking for a good gin cocktail recipe! :) Thanks!
No worries and enjoy. Agree, always good to work with gin.
We called a Kamikaze combining all of the drinks at a soda fountain. I like your version better.
Haha I bet that had an interesting taste. Thanks, as Vodkas popular, I’d like to think someone would remember this at 4 am at a house party.
I think we know who it was around the back of the kebab shop.....
A clue Jo, who was it and where? The sleeping escapades, I’ve heard were Hyde Park and round the back of Soundhouse.
I don't want to hear shit about the "apple juice across the pond" when your average UK beer is half as stong as a Bud Ice.
Haha Drink proper cider then! On the subject of beer, have you ever tried true British greats such as Kestrel and Tennents Super Strength? Missing out on a cultural experience there.
Very nice!
Thanks Sean!
Looks good will give it a go
Give it a go, really liked it picking a dry cider is key.
That sounds amazing
It kind of reminds me of old school drinks, minus the good old e numbers.
Love Appleton 12! Would definitely recommend trying a more flavorful Puerto Rican rum
Dangerously running low on it! What’s your go to Pureto Rican Rums?

@@Artur-Itas Yes lad! Get on the Sesh with these!
hey can you make Tentazione peccaminosa (sinful temptation) 2oz bourbon, 1oz sweet vermouth, 3/4 creme de casis, 3/4 lemon juice. 3/4 simple syrup. 1 dash angostura bitters. Shake double strain. Garnish lemon and orange slice
Can add to a list I have. Is there any history on this drink or is it your own creation? Later down the line might do a subscribers creations video.
I would suggest Woods Navy Neaters from Guyana could be good for this cocktail
Navy Neaters? Remember that bottle of Woods Navy Rum, caused carnage at your BBQs.
@CynicalMixologist In Great Yarmouth we call it Nelsons Blood
Looks like a banging summer cocktail 🍹
Thanks mate, more of these on their way.
Amazing ❤
Thank you!

Making it look respectable
Thanks. I’ve had a lot substandard ones over the years, the xanthum gun is the winner here.
Looks cracking
Thanks mate
Spicy 'ritas with Tajin is my go to. I actually enjoy the chucky bits floating around. Add cucumber and it's even better.
That’s hardcore Sean, I’m too OCDish haha. Cucumber is a great shout, also think along with Agave Syrup, a couple of dashes of Saline solution would work.
good stuff i gotta try this one
Thanks. It’s a great drink, not a big Whiskey and St Germain fan, but this one works well.
I love your garnishes on this but I really hope you were trolling us with that pronunciation of Tajin.
Thanks they work well the grapefruit was a game changer. Haha Perhaps and not using grapefruit soda!
@@CynicalMixologist J in Tajin is like the j in jalapeno. Also, are grapefruits orange-size in the UK??
Noted! Out of interest how do you pronounce Worcestershire? They’re a mixed bag in all honesty especially with online food shops. I do get them in from one place they are like kettlebells. Main thing about sharp citrus fruits for me is fresh juice, inexcusable when people served up from a bottle or in syrups. A worrying trend I’ve seen a couple of times in recent years, some places have cocktails on tap…
Looks good
Thanks!
