Speedy eating by backyard birdie!
We had setup this feeder barely a couple days ago as we’ve seen a few sparrows and finches around. We think this one here is an Oak Titmouse(?)..

Kiwi, our black-capped conure, started getting a bit territorial when he found another “animal” in his ‘hood!

Kiwi, our black capped conure, likes to eat bell peppers everyday. We try to give him different colored peppers. Red and green are amongst his favorites.

Our black capped conure Kiwi loves oranges. Sometimes he likes orange peels even more! Likely because he needs to get his beak a lot of exercise everyday.
My parrot’s preening routine before bed time! (Need to up volume)

Kiwi our black capped conure likes to preen himself all day. Here he gets his preen session going an hour or so ahead of bed time. Volume up if you want to hear the sound of his feathers being preened!

@@AParrotNamedKiwi-tq4kd Yes. I've had him for 15 years now. I've some videos of him when he was younger. It's harder now to get video or photos of him as he just attacks the camera.
@@RickHowell89 Haha! Kiwi likes to pounce on the camera too! Great to hear you've had him for a long while. We've had Kiwi for 1+. Any tips for their well-being?
@@AParrotNamedKiwi-tq4kd A good diet. Duckie does get his fair share of seeds, but he gets fresh fruit and pellets (Roudybush). He's not much into veggies, I've been trying for 15 years to get him to eat that, with no luck. My vet is happy with his health, even with eating no veggies.
@@RickHowell89 Good to know. I will look up Roudybush pellets. Kiwi does eat veggies although he wants to eat most things we eat, we have to keep him in check! How frequently do you get him to the vet?
