Does the hotel have a new owner? Tried to stay here once, they gave us a room in the connecting Hotel Madagascar. It was not so nice.

The A380 is just a behemoth! So much space! I do like the comfort of BA Seats, but the IFE isn’t as good as on their newer planes. The service and food is always impeccable from my experience! The crew often set a bar in the galley. That seat by the wing (31 I think it is) is a hidden gem. So much storage room around the seat, you can recline without interrupting anyone, and it’s right next to the galley and that massive wing! Select seat price is ridiculously high, thankfully I’m now Silver and I’m just taking advantage of it.

Thank you soooo much for making this video. Im flying tomorrow using this airline & I was sooooo nervous because I always fly Delta.

I suspected KLM would be that bad, so glad I paid extra and went with Thai/Air Canada. That looks more like premium economy class with no privacy and space, I bet the bubbly was Prosecco also. The EU airlines generally have a substandard product. I had a Lufthansa business class recently which was the most uncomfortable seat in that category I’ve ever overnighted in. Asian airlines are leading the way, not all but most. KLM are awful.

2 + 2 + 2 is not real Business Class. Good premium economy. Nothing else. Such a 2 + 2 + 2 is fraud, I think, and most people agree with me. But an amateur does not understand the difference.

You are right about local flavors in the buffett and menu list, I noticed u got creme brulee that is a wonderful dessert from France but the real local one is Leche Asada (baked milk) made with milk, eggs, vanilla, sugar, nugmet, lemon lime peeling, etc etc in the oven and delicious!!! Anyway, the building is nice and you can open the windows to feel real Lima weather compared to the other hotels full glass and unable to get fresh air.

AA retired the 767 last year and now flies the 787-8 with the reverse Zodiac for this route... Thanks for the report! Great review. Surprising AA can serve two meals for a flight just over 5 hours

Thank you for this video. Overall, I found it to be extremely good. I would have also liked to see something on price, if flying across the Atlantic, as Icelandair is said to be less expensive than many other airlines on the Atlantic routes. Also, a mention of its extensive array of secondary airports in northwestern Europe would have been great too.

Lovely hotel. When we moved to Lima in 1983, I stayed there with my parents and brother for nearly two months! It's perfectly safe to drink the tap water in San Isidro, by the way. Or maybe the microflora in my digestive tract is used to it.
