1. First of all need to select in the NSO ( conducted for only first-year students) team of the freshie batch. 2. Regularly need to attend all the practice sessions and utilise the opportunities you are given either in nets or practice matches - if you perform well in practice matches with good intent then you have a high chance to get into the institute's probable team. 3. Create impact in the tournaments conducted by IIT Madras and other colleges of Tamil Nadu both on and off the field. 4. During the inter IIT main camp (that starts one month before the Inter IIT Sports Meet) - perform consistently and try to grab a chance at any situation. Hence, if you are able to tick all these boxes then you can get into the IIT Madras Institute Cricket Team! P.S: Enjoy the process every minute you spend on the ground, training sessions and matches. Keep persisting, sometimes you will feel it's not worth at all, you need to wait for your chance because you just need to grab a single opportunity to announce your presence - it's not going to be easy! @@Anime_Essence_224 Yes, you can play as many sports you want in iits for fun whenever you want. However, if you are joining or want to join any team you need to be professional and need to put efforts equally as studies. It is feasible to manage sports and studies simultaneously with proper planning and dedication. If you are able to follow this path it helps you to become better version of yourself along with numerous life skills.

@@amansingh4382 bhaiya how many hours do you give to studies? Or like how many hours an Average IITian give to study? .. and also What would be the one advice you would give to any jee aspirant who wants to achieve what u have did (IIT)

@@Anime_Essence_224 After getting into iit life becomes little easy in terms of academics. However you need to take care of different external things by yourself and need to make proper schedule as you experience lot of exams are happening regularly like quiz, mid semester, end semester etc. So, exact timing varies as per person but you can balance things easily. One advice after completing this whole journey I would say - “ During preparation never feel like you can’t make into it even if you get low marks in your mock tests, believe and keep pushing yourself till the end” you will definitely get it.

Uske liye apne classmates se pooch skte professor se bhi pooch skte ho phir se, peer group is vey helpful at iit madras.

@@amansingh4382 bhaiya fir bhi practical class youtube pr nhi aa sakta kyunki baar baar hjaro baar mobile me dekh sakte he lekin prof se puvhne me 2- 3 baar sharm lg sakta hai

Yes, you can participate in more than one game in inter iit but it is very challenging to make commitments for both the games as every game requires daily practice and your full dedication at this level.
