Another great episode! Shawn is such a great guy. He is approachable at shows to ask questions and he has always been willing to answer anything people approach him with. The level at which RGI is already at is incredible and I know there are new developments popping up all the time with different tests being developed and different mutations of the same genes coming to light.

Steven is such a wealth of information! You will never find a nicer man in this hobby than him. Impeccable care of their animals is also something that they don't discuss a ton since they focus a lot on the marketing side. But, Steven and Courtney's animals are the definition of health and beauty. Loved this interview! You guys are off to a great start! Been voting for you guys on 15 MOL!

Great video guys, enjoyed the interview

Steven is still thinking small and a a little wrong when saying only other breeders really want to spend on the more expensive. For being a marketing guy he’s a bit blind, intimidated by or lazy to all the actual opportunities out there. He’s marketing to likeminded thinking the the public won’t buy… the neighbor Nextdoor general public that’s reached with a soft delivery won’t but if you work that much harder and apply yourself to a higher level of person and/or market to a different set of people with more flash and excitement that’s grabs anyone… here is a low level example of a new target audience, all these young influencers out there that would love a gorgeous snake while streaming…. these kids make bank everyday and love to show that they spend it plus do or have pretty/flashy things. there are lots of untapped customers all over!! This industry is too afraid, nerdy and guarded still to really market out to the right people. It’s all money laundering, pyramiding and pokemon trading right now but this started as pets. There are a lot of wealthy people that love animals and even more things that are exclusive and designer. They want things that are as beautiful and expensive as the snakes we have but people aren’t marketing to them. I have the drive and mindset of I won’t stop until at least half of American celebrities and sports figures have ball pythons because I see where there is a bigger market here. With the high designer level of these animals everyone is producing we kinda need them to take interest or the prices will unfortunately have to drop severely at some point. The goal and success to any REAL industry is to continue to grow its customer base… selling the dream is great but we can’t just keep growing sellers that eventually don’t need to buy new genes and produce too much biproduct. I feel we need the interest of those high end pet people besides breeders and the biproduct pet level people.

Absolutely a great episode! You guys naturally said all the right things to show you will be where you want and deserve it. The unplanned theme of this episode is actually the planned theme for my first long form video so this was inspiring. Josh, you are a legit business and on to the next step, you’re building a brand to be recognized and remembered plus you chose to take on, start and maintain a legacy.. kudos!. You’re true examples of self sacrifice, humility, interest/excitement and determination with a clear blueprint for a solid future and place in this industry. You might not be pillars yet but you definitely deserve and are the type we should all want to be ambassadors for us and to win the 15 minutes of lame contest.
