Since 1975, the Concord Chamber Orchestra has offered talented, volunteer musicians the opportunity to create stimulating musical experiences for the enjoyment and inspiration of Milwaukee area audiences. Concord is an all-volunteer, non-paid group of approximately 50 musicians from a variety of professions and backgrounds.

This is a recording made by our principal percussionist, Scott, of an Icelandic hymn who's title translates to "Hear, Smith of the Heavens". The words were written in 1208 by Kolbeinn Tumason who was one of the most powerful chieftains in Iceland and the music was written over 700 years later in the 20th century by Porkell Sigurbjornsson.
