🎨 MATERIALS NEEDED:
- Two pieces of 6"x9" watercolour paper (folded in half) taped lightly on back (horizontally) to secure to backing board.
- PAINT COLOURS: Black, Red, White, Orange, Yellow and Green
- BRUSHES: #1-6 pointed brushes (or your favourites)
- Two dishes of water and paper towel
- Blow dryer
Bring your curiosity to this meaningful activity that includes a mixture of stimulation, reflection, thought provocation, peaceful calm, relaxation and mindfulness.

🛑 NOTE: The instructions in this class are intended specifically for watercolor paints. The techniques demonstrated do not work in the same way with other mediums and materials (acrylic, oils, crayon, lead pencils, coloured pencil crayons, charcoal, marker, etc.)
👩 Your guide and instructor is Cathy Wild, an artist who began painting as therapy in April 2016 after her own journey of self-discovery following brain surgery. Some of her works have been on display at local art galleries and clubs.
Cathy is excited to volunteer her time in helping others paint while continuing her own recovery. May you find yourself inspired by the giftedness that emerges through your creations.
🎨 GENERAL MATERIALS
- Watercolor paper, preferably at least 140 lb. This can be Canson’s from Walmart or wherever you are able to order or pick up supplies (amzn.to/3dyZ6qq)
- Pencil, painters tape, backer board (to tape art paper/canvas to), paper towel (or rag), dish of water (for rinsing brushes), 2nd dish of water, extra paper towel.
