Cheers! Just a quick tip: I'm using DXO Filmpack with my Sony and never felt the need to "downgrade" to any Fuji cam. Oh, and once you own the software, you pretty much end up using only the Kodak film simulations-at least I do.

finally a review of the x-t50 from someone who has actually used it. I was getting so frustrated over other reviewers complaining about the ISO dial...I'm like... it's on the right side...I've lost all respect for them and don't watch their content anymore cause it's clear that they don't spend time with the camera. They don't even mention the 3 custom modes on the film dial either.

I'm planning to buy a camera as a beginner, but I don't know which one is better. Is it worth buying the X-T30 II in 2025? Which one is better between the X-T30 II and the X-M5? Do you have any suggestions? Thank in advance!!

Hi Bray, great videos. I'm debating between the X-M5 and the X-T50 right now because I want something more compact than the X-T4 I own currently. I have a 35mm 1.4 lens and I almost exclusively shoot wide open and at a low ISO. How high am I going to have to bump up that ISO to compensate for the lack of IBIS in the X-M5? Or will I not notice a difference at 1.4? I'm just wondering how much I might miss that IBIS since my X-T4 has it. Thanks and God bless.

UPDATE: If you set Vlog Mode to shoot 6.2K the OIS+DIS setting is disabled. If you switch Vlog Mode to 4K, you will be able to turn on OIS+DIS

Great Video. I also set the "Face-Detect on/off" to the AFL/AEL Button. It is so helpful when taking photos. I am really happy with this camera. Honestly my X-H2S sits mostly on the shelf since i have the X-M5. I got a used 10-24mm F4 WR lens and will try this out to get more stable video.

You’re really selling me on this camera. I recently went from needing a pro video workhorse to only shooting for fun dad-cam style and this looks like an amazing option.

x100v was my most used camera ever so I naturally pre-ordered 100vi before launch and was lucky enough to get it fairly quickly so I with me since. I'm pretty happy with it, although I feel the lens could be better in resolving fine details so X-T50 with interchangeable lenses looks just perfect (even thouth lens adds cost to the setup so x100vi may end up cheaper) and maybe I'd use film sim and JPG more with dedicated dial. Now it's just too much of hassle for me to think about it and go to menu to change it (or forget what I set it on)..etc so I'm doing RAW + post process which is just a pain. Only one thing I need to point out when comparing X-T50 to X100 line is that with X100's you get leaf shutter with its pros and also the build in ND filter is just godsend. thanks for the video and all the best...

Y'all I was really debating getting the A7cii UNTIL I watched this video. The Fuji is pulling my heart towards it SOLELY because of the film simulations. I just feel like the a7cii is so sterile looking which isn't a terrible thing in some instances. I need help deciding! If anyone has STRONG opinions about either one of these please please please please let me know!
