this video is an update 2 months after planting. I did it in response to a request by one of my subscribers. in this video I talked about, weeding a month and 3 weeks after planting and also staking the yam to help the vines /runners. I also talked about weeds that looks like potatoes runners and yam vines. I also used ropes to help the vines. #omenukolifestyle #yam #farmer

Nice one! I hope you do rejuvenate the soil with manure or compost if you plant in same previous land otherwise you may not get bountiful harvest in terms of sizes of tubers.
Nice video! But mind you, don't take ti to their advice to slice the seed yams into 4. The highest slice should be 2 or you plant the whole if you want to get a big harvest.

Well I don't think how long it takes matters but it's to get the chemical.componentnon the yam seeds to prevent termites, nematodes and rodents from feasting on them.. 30 mins should be okay.. but I also observed that the rodents still came and dug up a few yam seeds.. I'll do a video hopefully on this

I got he seeds form karu. Market Abuja.. You can also get from orange market maraba, nasarawa state.. Butter beans seeds are actually difficult to find and I believe it's the best variety of beans.. As for the chemicals used, I'll do a video of most of the ones I use exclusively
