Memories of Citylite 88.3 FM!
I was at that concert although not as close. I recorded this song also since it’s one of my favorites. Thanks for sharing.
THAT IS TOTALLY INSANE!!! FUNK MASTERS @ IT’S FINEST!!!😌🎶🎶🎸🎸🔥🔥👍🏾
who is the lady who goes on stage after Mark King left the stage?
Excellent group
❤
This is a beautiful rendition of one of my very favorite songs of theirs❤❤❤
Larry Graham legend Mark King well on his way
I ❤ this song!!!!
That's fucking UNREAL!
I was there that night hard to believe so long ago now!
Best song on the RITF album
Love the music 🎶!!!!!!
Where's prince he would've been awesome contributors to this
So Amazing! ❤️⚡️
SHUGGA!
Mike Lindup! ❤️
Unk Larry Graham! Thump'N & Pluck'N... East'Side Oakland Ca.Style.. 🎸
No one can out thump "The Slap Pappy" Larry Graham💯👑🎸🤘🏿🖤⚘️👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
No time for nothing
I respect both these players immensely but wow……what a fucking racket. Totally clashing. But hey….. thats proper improv. Respect 🙏
Don't get me wrong I am a big fan of Mark King but it's to different styles.
Larry Graham invented it every body else is a carbon copy 100
Keep in mind THUNDER THUMBS Said he didn’t know Larry at 1st…. But people were telling him they sounded a lot alike/similar!? LOUIS JOHNSON WAS A BAD BASSIST TOO! They are in my top 5-10 R&B Funk Bassist! Not hating at all! Enjoying their legacy! What they have brought to us! Lot of great bass players! Leon Silvers was underrated too!? (Played/produced some music for Whispers & SHALAMAR!?)
Wow
Larry Graham's outfit reminds me of Michael Jackson's smooth criminal outftit!
Lol!
This came on my mix and the intro made me stop in my tracks... When Mike started singing I freaked because I've been listening to them for 10 years and never heard this masterpiece... How did this miss their Levels Best album???
There is no other level between the two Bassist its a learning process, the step was made to teach the newest development of the bass generation. Dig that!
Quien se compara q hermoso loko
was he playing badge by cream near the beginning!
Brilliant song love the line battles in our head which we lose whichever side we choose king and lindup voices gel brilliantly near the end of the song.
Cannot wait to see these legends this week at Royal Albert Hall
Classic!!! 👌🏿👌🏿👌🏿👊🏿❤️🔥🔥
Went to the gig Hoped all night they would play this track . The soundtrack to my life .
Alguien sabe si la canción que toca Larry en el minuto 2:26 y con la que se presenta y inicia Mark tiene nombre? Me refiero al Riff que tocan es una canción o solamente fue Jam improvisado
wowwwww
Talent definitely runs in the family. Marlee you go girl. Although I am a little bias being that your dad Mr. Mark King is my favorite bass player of all time and Level 42 is my favorite pop band of all time. I am very impressed with you and believe you'll make it big one day.
Thanks you. Mark.
When the twins finally agreed in something
Haha LARRY " I will cause a distraction and you jump on stage and plug your bass in"
A pure wanker
One of there best tours ever.. Seen them 10 times live and I was there also but on other side near the stage
The "jazzistic" feeling on chorrus from minute 4:20 on is really an awesome trip!! Fantastic!
It's FUNKY MAN!
This version is better than the Album version. The ending keeps the sinister sound while the album version jumps back to the uplifting sound.
Memories of 1987 and the people I knew during a period when life wasn't so great. The friends you make when you're on the floor are the most important you'll ever make. Thank you George, Ken, Barry, the three Terry's, Tom and Hotshot.

This is what you call THUNDER!
This is ORGASMIC BASS HEAVEN to the EARS!
The Chorus is just awesome, voices are fantastic
One Of The Worlds Greatest Bassist Ever
