I met 259 once before as she was parked on a siding with her sister 258 (not joking) coupled up with her. Her crew was approaching the 12 hour limit and to make matters worse, the passing siding that they were going to park the train in was too short. With no relief crew ready, they had to split the train with most of it being parked on the intended siding and the front part parked on a storage siding in my childhood home town. I was surprised to drive across the bridge that goes over it and see the locomotives parked there. I drove to the nearby crossing and snapped a photo of them. My friend @SEABOARDSYSTEMfan informed me of what was going on with them later. The passing siding has since been extended to handle more traffic but it was an interesting sight to see main line power on a siding that normally sees just tank cars for a local business and storage for MoW equipment.
