They sat wake, washed him and dressed him before putting him in a coffin made in Sumner. Even after all these years none of these people have ever said it was not Billy. They mourned him! Before I was rudely interrupted, I believe that Brushy Bill Roberts was BBR. Not the kid, I think that Garret killed the kid. But what I do have question with is, how the whole thing started. Garret left a capital punishment prisoner with deputies to find wood. I think the killing of the two deputies is on Garret. Also, I think if you can keep meat cool for a few days, you can keep a body cool. There could have been a photographer. If you take a town of about 200, there are artist, musicians, comedians in every crowd. I just think there were going to be na sayers and paperwork can be forged. Garret had put in a position that he had to tell the story right is my point.
