Hello perseus ! Thanks for this video, this effect is really cool ! I followed your tutorial, but I have a problem when extruding the text. I did set the same parameters and checked the "draw hidden faces" box, but after expanding the appearance, when I select the top faces and remove them, the hidden faces don't appear. It seems that Illustrator doesn't draw them. Do you know what can be the cause? Thanks :)
Had the same problem. What I did was play around with the shade of gray and it appeared. Hope this helps ^_^

When I try to blend after I use the scissor tool, the space between the two lines fills up with a black fill rather than a single curved line. Please help. thanksss a lot.
