Over informative review... which I was searching for , Thank You and you've got a Sub !
Thank you. I’ll get more stuff on here soon. Life’s been busy.
Too bad Samsung is shit 💩
Nice one Dave, I've got the LG 4 and I'm always trying different settings to get the picture I like the most!
very sharp unique and useful information that arent really popular, the rectangle vs vertical shape of the tv’s was hilarious loooll
Love my s90c
Fine except that the shaft doesn’t always stop at the same spot…
No but if the lid fits the bowl exactly you can spin the lid and line hole up perfectly no matter where the shaft stops.
I watch my LG C3 in a not so bright room and I don’t worry about that reflection that you are talking about.
Hey can you tell what is the old samsung remote type? Interested for the backlight feature
The only numbers I see on the remote are BN59-01179B. It does have backlighting button but it doesn’t get really bright but just enough to make out the main buttons. I believe Amazon sells Samsung style remotes but unsure on the price.
I have s95D and I love it. I returned LG G4 because colors looked washed out and boring.
I had the C3 and thought it was just OK, but the wifi did not work that well and returned it. It was boring though, not punchy. The S90C is punchy no question and more vibrant.
A QD OLED is basically an AMOLED and CRT. LG's OLEDs (WOLEDs) have white subpixels and they struggle with warm colors, worse than IPS LCDs.
TruMotion is off but still can’t turn off Real Cinema
Are you using an Apple TV to stream? I noticed recently that when using my Apple TV it won’t let me access Real Cinema after I turn off TruMotion while using my Apple TV but when I switch inputs to my AMAZON FIRESTICK it will. I’m not sure why this is but I did update the Apple TV recently and it was a rather long update so maybe somehow it’s affecting it. If you want it ON /OFF try unplugging the APPLE TV from its HDMI input and plug in another device to that HDMI INPUT and then try it and see if it allows you to turn Real Cinema On/Off and once you have it changed where you want to leave it then put your Apple TV back on that HDMI and see if it stays set. It may be the only way to do it. I’m not really sure why it is t working now either but
Watching it via Apple TV? Turn Match Frame Rate to ON Turn video mode to 1080p SDR or 4K SDR I did this, and now I have Real Cinema enabled.
I have the Samsung S90C and I absolutely LOVE IT!! Yes the motion on the S90C is bad but with a little tweaking, Im happy with the result. I was actually trying to get a LG G3 Oled but I could not find one with a good price. So I opted to buy the S90C through my jobs discount with Samsung and also purchased the 4yr Samsung Care and used the available option to pay 4 payments of $525 every two weeks.
S90C has better motion clarity because it can do 144Hz. The screen is also so bright that BFI (motion blur reduction magic) is usable. Any flaws with content that you watch will be exposed by the S90C.
I like it but I want 1 aslo
Thanks for the comparison. I’ve had the C3 65 inch for about 2 weeks now. I’ve noticed that there’s a pink tint on the left side of the screen when it’s displaying a bright white/beige picture. Does your unit have this? I’m thinking of replacing it with another one or maybe the s90c.
I have noticed a very slight pink tint to the right side of my screen on certain things when it’s a mostly white screen during some commercials etc… but at other times when it’s a white screen it looks really white I’m not sure why it’s not constantly there. My screen so far after two months of owning it shows no banding or blotchy spots like some have noticed so far but if I develop any I’ll post it. You really need to get around at least 200 hours of watching before picture breaks in I’ve read and I believe it in the S90C. The picture and colors just got better and more balanced looking the more I watched it. The S90C was great and I actually was planning on keeping it but on football I could get a smoother motion but on movies and tv shows they are very similar no matter how much I adjust them. Apparently OLEDS just have a weird fizzy blurr to minor movements such as peoples faces when they turn their heads. It strange it seems like they handle faster motions better than more subtle motions. It’s the only thing I really don’t like about my C3. They both had similar blur but I think although they have similar movie motion blur I think the Samsungs was a less annoying. It’s hard to explain. You could try exchanging it but I’d give it a little break in time and maybe even try running a screen cleaning cycle and it may help. Let me know what you end up doing I’m just as curious about this stuff as you are. I’m watching EAGLES -FALCONS game on LG C3 through my Apple TV right now and it looks great. Just FYI I had a 77” S90C so it had a QD-OLED panel made by SAMSUNG but if you get a 65” S90C I believe some of those in in that size were actually WOLED panel just like the panel on your LG C3 so it may have the pink tint problem too.
@@ADAVETOREMEMBER-kh6qk I'm going to keep the C3 for now since I still have a week and a half for the return period. I've read that the pink tint is caused by the coating that LG uses on their OLED screens. So I doubt that it will go away in time. It's noticeable when you look at it at a certain angle. With mine if you're dead center looking at the screen the pink tint is always there on the left side when it's showing a bright white picture like those on commercials. On the other hand if I move my sitting position to the right side that pink tint actually shifts to green. It's not that distracting but it's there. Right now I'm leaning on keeping it. I know from your comparison that the S90C also has its issues. You actually mentioned about the C3 is displaying a wider aspect ratio compared to the S90C. I'm glad that you've mentioned that because that would bother me. It seems like it overscans the picture more on the Samsung which results in cutting some of the sides. I guess the conclusion here is that there's no perfect panel.
@butinsho7585 it’s barely wider and not really that noticeable. The Samsung has a great picture no doubt and I think in movies and tv the Samsung motion blur is a little less but in football it’s definitely better on LG.
In the UK we get two remotes for Samsung TV's. The standard and smart remotes. The newer standard remotes are a bit smaller than your 10 year old Samsung remote.
On the Samsung what are those 2 things at the bottom of the screen look like weights ??? they have just put me off buying one
I am not sure what they are. I never looked into it. I wouldn’t let them keep me from buying the tv if you like it. I never really notice them unless looking for them.
Thank you it's really help me
We gonna get a 1month+ review?
Wow, this is a great review side by side which most TH-camrs don’t do! You have found exactly what I have found when I had the C3 and s90c. Most TH-camrs only review movie content so motion is about the same, but most of us watch everything. I watch a lot of sports like football and golf, it seemed LG was able to remove judder better than the Samsung, with sports i usually used de-judder on 4-5. Movies I usually run de-judder on 1-2. And yes I agree with the remote, that Samsung remote is something else 😂
@@beammeupscottsp7952 Thanks … yeah I honestly like the Samsung and it’s definitely watchable during movies and streaming shows but when we were watching sports I can put the LG on Natural or Smooth and it’s just very comfortable to watch where the Samsung though watchable has some weird motion artifacts at times. I wanted to show some movie motion comparison but was sure if I would get in trouble with copyright rules etc … plus it’s hard sometimes to get the camera to show what is easily seen with your eyes in person. I’m glad you liked my video. I’ll get better at them.
@@ADAVETOREMEMBER-kh6qk yes if you're just watching 4k movie material Samsung does very well and can saturated colors more and I'll probably lean more that way. But LG just seemed to have better motion with less artifacts when watching sports. I watch a lot of sports so motion needs to be good, the only other TV that had superior motion was a X85j Sony led I use to have, not sure how the motion is on their oled models. Also I have it hooked up to a game console and it seemed to upscale low resolution games better.
Which one of em will give you the strong soap opera effect
@@westleystipe8209 either of them if you set the DE JUDDER settings high enough. I see a lot of people recommend turning off all motion settings but when I do it just isn’t comfortable to watch in my opinion due to weird blurring of peoples faces etc… I put the Samsung DE JUDDER setting at at least 5-6 and the LG I use the NATURAL or SMOOTH setting. The SMOOTH has some Soap opera effect but smooths out the picture the best to me on both movies and football. Neither tv is perfect. I’m still trying different things to try to improve the motion.
Owen Ben 4:10 4:13
I hate motion processing of any kind. Does the S90C look good with all the motion settings disabled? Also, you might have some sort of crop setting enabled on the S90C if you're not seeing the whole image side to side.
Some people are more sensitive to motion blur or motion artifacts than others. I happen to be one of them. I will say that the motion problems I see are very similar on both the LG C3 and the S90C with MOTION CLARITY settings turned off on movies and football. If watching movies they both tend to have some weird fizzy blur to peoples faces when they turn their heads or there is even subtle movements but I actually think the Samsungs weird motion blur looks a little better than the LG for a lot of tv and movies. It’s really hard to explain but they both have their own distinct type of fizzy motion blur to people’s faces on movies and the Samsungs doesn’t bother me quite as much as the most of the time. If I set the LG to NATURAL or SMOOTH MOTION it gets better than Samsungs motion but there is definitely mild SOAP OPERA effect noticed. I am not using the internal apps on either tv and I am beginning to think that part of the problem may have to do with the APPLE TV and FIRESTICK setting of MATCH FRAME RATE. I was just messing with the LG and I think I’ve figured out something I’ll post a video about that helps with the motion a little. To answer your question I just went through the MOTION settings on the S90C while watching last Superbowl on TH-cam at 1080P. MOTION SETTINGS turned completely off it is blurry. It’s not unwatchable but definitely not comfortable natural focused motion. It’s fine when they show slow motion replays or zoom in on players not moving around much on the field but when the play starts players get really blurry like a phone camera that can’t focus on something. MOTION set to AUTO it’s a hair better focus but fast player motions during the play are still blurry with an unatural look to the movement that’s hard to explain and you will occasionally see some interpolation artifacts around players especially their legs when running. MOTION set to CUSTOM with DE BLUR and DE JUDDER both set at 0 … players become blurry like out of focus until play slows down or ends. Not comfortable at all to watch for me. MOTION BLUR at 10 and DE JUDDER at 0 I honestly see no effect looks the same. The only thing that seems to improve motion blur and focus during movement with less artifacts is the DE JUDDER setting of at least 5-7 and while DE BLURR of around 4-5 for me. Basically the only thing that seems to affect anything is the DE JUDDER settings. I really like the Samsung but the LG set to SMOOTH just makes football motion look more smooth and players stay more focused. Sorry if I didn’t help much but it’s really hard to describe without seeing it for yourself. I honestly liked my 10 year old Samsung LCD better for motion and football looked great. 🙄
I’m watching PREY on HULU on S90C with DE BLURR at 4 and DE JUDDER at 5 and looks pretty good to me. The S90C is more comfortable for watching movies but football is where I just can’t get it to look right.
@@ADAVETOREMEMBER-kh6qkThanks for the detailed reply! I am interested in the S90C but I am a little skeptical now and I'll definitely have to see one in action before I get one. I actually like motion blur when watching films, as that is how most movies are filmed. However, if there are weird ghosting or artifacts like you are saying, then that's a major turn off.
@@Skrenja they are similar on movies and I think you’ll like the S90C if. Little motion blur doesn’t bother you but it’s when watching football that I have artifacts around fast moving players mostly around their legs. The Samsung is very nice though.
I think a similar comparison of S95D vs S90D or G4 will get a lot of views.
man you were able to do 35min of very useful TVs comparison without turning them on
Nice comparison, thanks for sharing!
Thanks for this video. The motion handling is too much better on the C3? I had one and didn't like it in this detail, so the S90C should be worse? Thanks in advance.
@@mdk8783 when watching television and movies it’s very similar but when watching football I just couldn’t quite get it as smooth as on the LG. Neither is perfect. I’m still messing with it trying to see if I can figure out the motion solution. I’ve just read somewhere that putting in GAME MODE picture mode will give better motion processing on movies and sports. I’ll try it and see if it helps and if so post a video about it n
I have that remote, instead of all of those clicks, press the back button while holding it should clear the screen!!🤔👍🏾

What you mention in the 18:40 means that the Samsung model has a more aggressive ABL when you watch content from the TV itself but if you connect an Android tv or a Fire tv cube it no longer reduces the brightness of the image 💡📺as much and that has been proven through using Samsung tv since 2022
@@ManuelPazBlogs I’m going mess with them again but it was ABL it was present on all content from the start and the FIRESTICK was brighter overall image when using it and APPLE TV on LG C3 just switching between them on the two inputs. The same streaming app and content and identical scenes. I’ll try to show it later maybe in a video.
Ya got a source?
@Damnitgary I’m not sure what you’re asking?
@@ADAVETOREMEMBER-kh6qk it was for Manuel
C3 has more aggressive ABL but the Samsung oleds are known to have pretty aggressive ASBL. Luckily, this can, and should be disabled from the service menu.
Thank you, I was about to buy this remote but then saw your video and I moved on.
Thank you for posting this
@@ElizabethBey I hope it was helpful. I’ll post another once I’ve figured out what I’m doing with it. I pulled the cushions out and repositioned the foam switched the pillows around and it helped but after about a week and a half it’s sinking in again so not so sure if the foam is flattening or just getting pushed to the ends of the pillow. Regardless I need to find a more permanent padding solution other than repositioning it every couple weeks.
I have the same lol I just forgot how to put the stuff back in after washing the cover
How’s the tv n picture quality so far? I bought the same exact tv from BestBuy too. Mine is to arrive this week.
It’s pretty good on higher quality streaming content. I watched STAR WARS A NEW HOPE on DISNEY PLUS and it is in HDR and looked great. I also watched Original STAR TREK episodes on PARAMOUNT + and they are remastered in HDR10 I believe and again looked great. However my girlfriend was watching THE VIEW program through HULU tv and it was watchable but kind of grainy and no where as good as it used to look on my 10 year old Samsung UN65HU8550. That tv upscaled everything very good. I’m also having a little trouble finding a motion setting that I like in the motion clarity settings. When people make regular movements such as head turning or sudden movements on screen there is a weird blurr of their face. It may be just more noticeable because it’s a 77” tv vs the 65” I had before. I’ve also had a slight problem with the APPLE TV video settings. I have it set to 4K 60 hz HDR format with MATCH DYNAMIC RANGE and MATCH FRAME RATE turned on. The problem is when I watched STAR WARS and STAR TREK episodes I mentioned above it plays them in SDR instead of HDR for some reason so I have to turn MATCH DYNAMIC RANGE off for it to play them in their enhanced HDR format. I’m not sure if it’s an APP problem or APPLE TV problem but I don’t believe it’s the tv. BEST BUY has the LG C3 77” on sale for Fourth of July sale for $2000.00. I’m contemplating buying it and comparing and returning one I like the least. It’s a big tv and would be a slight hassle.
Your video randomly popped up on my page today and now I'm thinking about getting a different dog bed for my dog. 😄
I like the dog bed for the most part but like I said it may need more foam filling added or solid foam pads or maybe some rectangular pillows that would fit. If you pull out the three pillows and re situate the foam it will be fine for a little bit but will eventually push out to the ends away from where the dogs pressure points are usually at and you will have to regularly pull them out and re situate the foam filling. I may message KIRKLAND and see what their response is and maybe they’ll send me replacement pillows and hopefully they are improved. COSTCO allows up to 90 days for returns I believe so you might try it out and decide for yourself. Thanks for watching.
It’s a really nice bed lol my toddler jumps on it and wants to lay with my pup sometimes when chilling
What the hell. Just open the bloody thing. Get a headache watching at the cardboard
Yeah I know. It was only time I had to do the video and I didn’t want to try to open it with nobody there to help hold it up as we pulled the cardboard off. I didn’t want to risk damaging it.

Excellent comparison! Which wheels did you end up using between the two sets?
Thank you for taking the time to create and post this detailed comparison! I have ordered the Titans from Home Depot to replace my 17 year old OEM black rollers w/o any bearings at all and am hopeful they will be a great upgrade! This is a topic with many options and price points w/o much bang-for-the-buck analysis. I concluded with the help of your input that the Dura-Lift options are a quality upgrade and will outlast me! My next research project will be to replace my also 17 year old OEM single torsion spring with two springs. This will be a more challenging project to resolve, but much fun to research and complete!
Think of a 2X4 that is not 2” X 4”
P
FYI- those are shielded bearings, not sealed bearings. Sealed bearings do a better job at keeping out contaminants.
Very interesting and detailed comparison. Too bad the audio comparison wasn't included.
Awesome review... I normally don't watch any reviews that are 20 minutes. This was a very informative review that gives you the info you need without all the other crap. Thank you.
I’m glad you liked it. I’m new at this and I just got started doing these videos then had a set back but I definitely plan on adding more content. I hope you check in from time to time to see what I’ve added. Thanks again.
Thanks for this. To make things even more confusing, they've added the Ultra-Life MAX Plus line. They have the white wheels like the Ultra-Life MAX, but the black oxide coating of the Titan, and a dust cap that seems similar in shape to those on the Ultra-Life MAX, but the orange color of the Titans.
Yes I’ve seen that also. I was just getting started doing these videos then had some major life distractions come up so I never got back to my channel until just now. I never realized my videos weren’t full screen either until later. I may order those other rollers this time to do a quick comparison and I plan on getting some more content on my channel real soon. Thanks for the reply and I hope you liked my video and check back to see what I’ve added later.
