Merry Christmas Fred :)
Merry Christmas hope you have a lovely day
hello Fred, your plot looks nice and tidy ready for spring.Merry christmas to you 🎄🎄
Thanks people think it’s 2 hours a week to keep your allotment in order iwhish😅😅
@ Fred I know the feeling 😂😂 we wish 2 hours 😂😂
Fred, merry christmas, and you are never ever too old for a bigger poly tunnel. Santa might surprise you !!! Would love to try growing sprouts, but our temp is to warm . We had a 40c day last week and probably the same on boxing day, but a cool 35c for christmas day. Enjoy your videos, thank you. ❤❤❤
Thanks for watching sorry not to much content this time of year
Merry Christmas Fred I hope you and family have a lovely holiday season, Ali 🥶☔️🧑🎄🎄🇨🇦 Birds will pull them out and mice 🤦♀️🤦♀️
And a merry Christmas to you love watching your vlogs
I stopped buying onion sets as so many in the bag are crap or mushy. I do my onion from seed now. Good luck with them all Fred, Ali ☔️☔️☔️🇨🇦
Will be doing onion seeds next year see how it goes thank for watching
Nice harvest and pretty looking potatoes. I bet you enjoyed them. Thanks for sharing
No need to skin just washed lovely
Good harvest. The tiny ones are good, too. I never throw any away.
Only the really small ones thanks for watching 👍
If you get a bunch of little tiny potatoes, they make a delicious side dish cooked in beef gravy. Also good in stews and soups. I'm quite thankful for every vegetable I have gotten this year. I replanted my pots with Blue Lake 274 Bush Beans, turnips and bunching onions. I highly recommend the Blue Lake 274 Bush Beans. They are very prolific. Subbed.
Nice looking potatoes
Hopefully the next tub will be a bit bigger 👌
hello we are new to your channel and we are new allotment holders we have had ours since july and still working to get the plot ready for growing next spring lots to do as the plot had nothing on it but an old compost bin its great watching other allotment vlogs as it gives us some new ideas for what we can aim for in the future :)
Bet you can’t wait for spring I still get excited at my age
@@fredbamford1636 I can’t wait we have a lot of planning to do 😊
Great harvest 🥔🥔🥔🌝👍
Always done well with the containers 👍
That's a great yield from a container.👌🥔😁👍
Always had good success in tubs
I would like these reveals to include the time in the pots to harvest and how much fertilizer was used, etc. Your harvest looks very nice!
I used potato fertiliser blood and bone and growmore 4 month in pot also cheap compost from asda
Nice harvest from one container
It sure is
Thanks for your comments
Wow nice spuds 🥔 Fred, we love red potatoes 🥔. Happy gardening, Ali 🌞🇨🇦
Normally I would leave them longer in the bucket but needs must
Well done, that's a good result
We shall dine like kings tonight 😂
Hi. If you are saying that you got the same from 6 potatoes in one container. Then put 3 in each of 2 containers and you would get twice as much potatoes for 6.
😂😂 you do,filming like me upside down. Lovely potatoes Fred and fresh is always a treat. Happy growing, Ali 🌞🇨🇦
Sorry not an expert at doing vlogs glad you enjoyed it
@@fredbamford1636 oh lord Fred don’t be sorry I think you do a great job. I like gardening videos that are real if you know what I mean. Have a fab day 👍👍

Nice garden Fred! Thanks for filming!

Put them on the scales when I got home just over 4 pound

Thanks for watching
if you want bigger potatoes, fred, limit the number of eyes when you plant the seed spuds.. all in all, that was a good haul..................brian
Will remember that tip thanks
Lovely. Thanks for the tour 😊
Glad you enjoyed it
Morning Fred, my onions and tomatoes have been decimated by slugs. And I think my shallots may have leaf miner 😢😢. Wow sounds right windy Fred but it should keep the pigeons on alert 😅. My beets are in trays because last year I had leaf miner and I’m not sure where to put the new ones. Have a simply awesome week, Ali 🌧️🌥️🇨🇦
Thanks for your comments much appreciated 👍
👍👍👍
Glad you like the vlog
Nice trick with the pens for placing second row. Hope it works out for you
I was just going to get that compost from the Range, might give it a miss now.
Bayview compost at Fitzpatricks fuel and garden range &£6 pounds for 60 litres best I have had all year
Hi Fred. I bought soil from ASDA and it was so fibrous and an insult to the name soil. I honestly wonder how a company can buy crap in and not look at it first. It's their reputation as well. I put mine in the compost heap to mix under as I didn't have the heart to plant anything into it. Your onions are looking great. You can add sulphhate of ammonia to feed them. I use it on my kelsae. Elaine 🌱 🌱
Thanks for the tip
👍👍 lovely tour Fred hope the weather gets better soon, Ali 🌤️💨🥶🌧️🇨🇦
I think the temperature is going up 👍
👍👍👍
So cold
Great tour of your plot Fred, thank you. What a dissapointment with the compost, some companies are just greedy.
So true
Time to pee 😂😂 I mean pea 🫛. Compost these days is crap Fred 😢 but we use what is available. Great job 👏. Have a super week and happy Easter 🐣, Ali 🌞🐣🇨🇦
Thanks for your comments O no it’s raining again☹️😣
Nice work with the Gaffer tape 😉 Top tips! 😊
Sorry I kept on about the compost but we soldier on
Hi Fred the compost looked bad but you added lots of fertiliser so should work out well.👍🥔💪
Hopefully it will be ok find it strange that 40 litre don’t fill a 30 litre tub?
@@fredbamford1636 looks like they're trying to rip people off to me. 👍👌
Morning Fred, I see lots of peeps doing taters so should be fine. Love an experiment 🔬 so good luck 🤞. Too true spuds aren’t that fussy which is a good thing with the compost that’s out there 😢. Have a simply fab week, stay dry, Ali ☔️🌦️🇨🇦
Thanks for your comments it’s nice to hear from you have a good week
