sad , 600 to 800 dollar wheel if not more .
@JCcanU these wheels were beautiful prior to the tire install. Looks like a dog chewed on them! For clarification we don't own a dog and the car gets parked inside
@@kennethwise7108 That is sad , Tire machine or balancer can do that if they are not careful.
Head back there and show him what they did
😳 dam
Nothing but professionals. What a shame.
@@tinkeringwithharleys yeah, it sure is
Canadian KIA Stinger GT2's are referred to as a "Stinger GT Elite" in Canada. These are slightly different from their USA counterparts. They have rear heated seats, plush (felt) padded material on the "A" pillars in lieu of plastic, no exhaust chambers that get diverted when switched to "sport mode" (bummer) and the "Stinger" name isn't in the center of the rear lift gate. If you notice its got a "KIA" label affixed to that area instead. The "Stinger" emblem can be found on the left side of the lift gate. Aside from that theyre identical in every other way. All Canadian Stingers are AWD and are only available in a V6 twin turbo.
I learned from a fella on TH-cam that this issue could also have been a result of a loose ground strap commonly found on the motor which was supposed to have been covered by GM under Technical service bulletin "PIP4182". I will have that looked into during its next state inspection. Seems logical since it's disappeared after making my own grounds from the battery to the motor and frame. See below forum for more details. www.solsticeforum.com/threads/cel-flashing-randomly-wierd-circumstances.74676/
Glad you got it figured out brother. Just to let you know, sea foam is crap. K100 is waaaay better.
@@mattw8834 noted THANKS!!!
Tight plug gap is more power , less spark travel . good way to gain HP on a Gas engine
@JCcanU Yep, also helps clear up Turbocharged P0300 issues. That's why I kept leaning towards this being a spark plug gap issue. The internet is FULL of people who are suffering from this issue on their 2.0 Turbocharged engines. After much tinkering I got lucky and nailed it. Seems to be running better than ever. It might have also benefited from multiple WOT passes which burned off any excess crap from the exhaust side. Most people don't realize the importance of doing that occasionally. I did it regularly on my old BMW K1300S and when I'd pull it into my garage it would smell "rotten". That's all the excess garbage being burned off of the catalytic converter! It takes full throttle runs to burn all of that crap off, thus allowing a freer flowing exhaust.
@@kennethwise7108 I see a lot of New cars with the Rotten egg smell . get behind them on the bike and had no idea why is smell that bad . talked to a few people they traded the car in over the smell .
@JCcanU because nobody knows the importance of WOT passes to burn all that shit off. I do it on my shit.
@@kennethwise7108 i buy old shit fix it up lol
That hood opens up like a vet you know a Corvette..
@MoeLarrycurly1 yeah, .makes it easy to work on
Glad you got it fixed, ain't electronics great.
@tinkeringwithharleys Hence the reason why all of my bikes have a carburetor and cables with NO computers! Believe it or not my 1998 Red Road Glide gets a whopping 53 MPG. Find me one Harley-Davidson that can can even get remotely close to that. Additionally, it's a 4-5/8" stroker with 90' of torque and 90hp. running stock mufflers, stock airbox etc. It's not fast whatsoever but I've never built and configured a combination like this ever. I guess it comes with experience.. I got lucky I recon
@kennethwise7108 there's nothing like the old stuff. Technology has just complicated a simple concept.
@@tinkeringwithharleys totally agree
I'm happy to hear you got the code resolved!
@Kaswells_Kappa thanks Brother!!!! You're my "Go to" for my car
Looks fast
@@MoeLarrycurly1 Wife says it's very fast
Congratulations to Ivette! Nice wheels! 👍👍👍
@astein7035 haaaa she's been out and about since we bought it! I think it's safe to say she likes it
That thing sure will get with program.what a car. Probably faster than the little one you just got. Even good one gas. Leave it to the nipps
@mattw8834 yeah true, It's absolutely perfect and is a nice upgrade from the junk Honda she had.
That is a sharp car congrats
@@JCcanUTHANKS! she's happy!
You need a real Harley with a Kickstart, these are for girls.😂
Love them all
@@Americanmotorcycleexperience thank you so much for the compliment! Lots of work! Love your channel!!!
Nice lineup Kenneth! You are a true officianado. Years ago you commented on my kurtben519 channel about my "catastrophic ressurection" bike that I put too much money and time into it and that it was probably a waste of time and now look at what you've done! Ironic eh?
Haaaa Hi John, yes Sir. It all boils down to how bad do you REALLY want to save it and how deep your pockets are! LOL I put more money into the motor than the actual cost of the motorcycle 🤦🏻♂️ Probably not the smartest thing in the world to do but it was a bike i was on the hunt for and was almost an impossible find. A 1998 carbureted "Road Glide standard" is an extremely hard find. How's your bike holding up? Thanks for chiming in and thanks for the compliment
Thanks Kenneth! I think we would get along! The glide is great and running well. Put a lot of S&S stuff in it like gear drive 583 cams and a D&D fatcat also. Check out my johnnielsen5076 channel for my 2002 road king classic ressurection! She's the third in the stable now. Mine are called Esmerelda, Black Betty and the king is Laverne! Cheers mate!
Type John Nielsen for the channel
Great collection well taken care of…
Thanks Andrew, I love my 90s bikes with no computers etc. Lol
Cool bikes👍
Thanks a lot Brother! It's a labor of love. Wears me out.. lol
Very nice collection, don't make um like that anymore. I don't ever remember seeing a '98 road glide anniversary.
Thank you so much for the compliment!!! Oddly enough, there were brochures out for the 95th Anniversary models and the one missing in every one I've seen is the Road Glide. The Mo-Co didn't make a Tour Glide in 1997 as they were tooling up for the new model the "Road Glide". It's been my "suspicion" that they probably weren't sure if the new Road Glide would be ready in time so they probably left it out of all of the brochures. Their initial numbers were very low production due to the fact that the Tour Glides weren't good sellers so they deliberately chose keep their numbers low. Believe it or not my factory carbureted Standard is way rarer than the Anniversary bike is. I've seen my share of EFI 1998 Road Glides but so far I've never seen another carbureted one. I love mine, it's the best bike I've ever owned and I've had upwards of 6 HD's in my life.
Beautiful bikes. My father in law has a 1999 Electra Glide that’s sat for >4 years. I’d like to buy it from him and restore it. You’ve given me hope I wasn’t being foolish.
1999 is a bad year for Harley's.
Go for it!
@choppadee113 true, depends on if it's EFI or not. Also the chain tensioners are garbage and are prone to fail and destroying your motor
cool , in my 40s i had 3 bikes, how times have changed .
It's not easy Jeff, I just got done tinkering with both carburetors. Annie and Fatboy, they started running fat due to the extreme change in humidity. I hate tinkering...
@@kennethwise7108 could be why my bike died the other day , 100% humidity 95 out
@@JCcanU yep, I had to rejet my Fatboy and went up a size
@@kennethwise7108 My front pipe is little dark the rear is white grey I have a really good burn on my plug im not changing anything .

Wow super nice bikes!
Thanks Brother! I appreciated the support
Nice bikes! I used to have a bagger.. down sized to a 2012 Sportster converter to an old school swingarm chopper 😂. Keep the rubber on the road bro!
Thanks Brother 👍🏼 ill try to, it's hard to keep these old things goin
Nice Video. I have 2000 Fatboy. What kind of fairing is that on yours?? I would like to get one. 👍🏼
Glide pro, thanks for the compliment! 👍🏻
I am impressed .... 🏍️🏍️🏍️
It's a labor of love. If I owned a Shovelhead like yours I'd be pulling my hair out of my head. Your carburetor issues sure don't seem to be going away
Fantastic bikes
Thanks Moe, I've been wanting to do a video of my bikes for a while now but it never fails that either one or both or all 3 are filthy. LOL
Remember what you said when you bought the fat boy? It was a daily driver and you weren't going to put not one penny into it😂🎉
I couldn't resist lol
Bikes look great, nothing like older bikes.
Thanks Brother! It's almost a full time job keeping 3 Evo's on the road lol
Yep I know how that works, but you love it. Lol
@tinkeringwithharleys I have a love hate relationship with my bikes, especially when it comes time to wash them. I wish someone would invent something to keep them from ever getting dirty Haaa
It's good to see you doing well
Thank you Stevo!
2 miles on that bike . wow
Yeah, it left York and got sent to Milwaukee.
Many of their bikes in the Museum have under 4 miles
Annie minus 150,000 miles on her!
Awesome! You're a CELEBRITY!!
