Blur Barber Guard was created to help blur haircuts from a half closed and opens to a 1 and half. Are you still using the #half guard and then a #1 on your fades ?
this was created as a new system to help eliminate those steps if used correctly.
while clippering over comb with this attachment on it also creates the softness of a texturizing shear not leaving hard lines to the hair.
it is was not created to remove bulk. It was created at Oscars Barbershop a 26 year licensed barber shop with the knowledge to help with todays demanding haircuts.
we like to use it for tapers, Fades and setting half fades not to forget texturizing.

Man i love the og blur blade but not being able to zero gap it was my only gripe but now that you have the new crunch blade i wont have to switch clippers and use a 0.5 guard and a regular blade to take out the skin line

We have put them on stretch brackets zero gapped and another not zero. This way both Blades will fade into each other.

Crunch Blade hasn’t gotten hot on us. It however does depend on how long a person is taking on the cut and if the blade is oiled or not so the blades have less friction build up.🫡💈

Some clients want the barber to rush the client(s) that are in the chair in front of them, but when the impatient client gets in the chair, now he/she wants to pull out their cell phone and waste time by looking down constantly at their phone. You raise their head up, but then they lower their head right back down, and they continue to do that throughout the whole haircut!!!!!! Then others will start an unnecessary conversation that should wait till after the barber is done! I've learned to tell these clients straight up the codes of conduct or I just avoid them if possible (especially, if I can do better).
When you tell the client the rules what’s been your feedback? Do they stop coming by for haircuts?
@@blurguard Depends on the client and for me it's about communication. If I tell the client the rules and we get on the same page, then we both win (good communication, an awesome haircut, and maybe even a nice tip). On the other hand, if the client doesn't comply, I generally restrict their access to me. We do have the right to refuse service in certain instances (or even promote them to try other barbers in the same shop that I work at). If a client doesn't come back, I simply offer my services to a new potential patron that has an understanding and behavior that promotes a good client-barber relationship. Clients are gonna come and go for whatever reasons though; you still have to provide a quality service and promote your skills/services 😃.

I have a feeling that you read my comment earlier about phat master, well, now I look at my phat and understand that in your hands is a masterpiece in form design - I like this triangular shape which is much more professional if you have two blade clippers, but I don’t quite understand why there are so few teeth. I still use the original blur blade in 🇷🇺
The spacing of the teeth allows for the hair to be fed into the blade with ease, and cut through bulk
Besides the length what else is the difference between the blur blades? Also would it make sense to use the taper style blur into this new blade not gapped to do a whole fade?
Blur Blade is a taper style blade that can be zero gapped to take out close shaver lines and opens up to a 2 depending how you gap it. Our new Crunch Blade Is a fade style blade that can be zero gapped to take our close shave lines and can open up more than a number 2.
You could use the Blur Blade to fade into the Crunch Blade or the other way around 🫡🔥 it’s all on how do you cut and like your machines set. Both ways are great 🫡🫡

No walkthrough, no explanation. We aren’t all barbers or mind readers. Y’all want us to drop $50 on a piece of metal but can’t give a thorough tutorial on your product.

We like to zero gap the Blur Blade. We also have 2 different machines with different settings. One of the machines has a zero gap and the other one has it pushed back all the way.
