Hey, thanks for your comment. We actually have considered this tool before. Our thought was that it will be using Maya's out of box functions, but, then, users could do almost the same organization with just Maya's display layers. (the ability to override Maya curve colors already exists with display layers.) So, instead of making a tool that almost already exist, we have decided to focus development on other tools :) However, if there's something that's worth considering, we can certainly look at it. Any suggestion is welcome!

Are you using Arnold as renderer? If you assign the hair description with a lambert, does it render?

@@NoBrainTools Yes I was using arnold but when done that, it showed 'xgen: object not found: Groom/hair/cutl' error.

Hi, if you open the image that's baked out in the sourceimage folder, do you see any colors? (you can also check with the 'visualize' check box toggled on shadded mode (6key)). If so, can you try increasing the 'radius' to 2 and update again?

The working unit is centimeters.Calling custom maps can only draw colour, otherwise only black and white colors can be drawn

Ah, thank you. That is Select -> First CV to show the 'First CVs' for these curves are all over the places in the beginning. Some at the tip, some at the root.

There's no region map used. It's all just in the modifiers setting.
