    I have a no substrate aquarium With plants as Anubias , hugrophipla pinnatifida , crypts , guppy grass ,bacopa , hornwort , dwarf water lettuce ,salvinia . Could you tell me more plants which i can add , who dont need substrate too. Like java moss , java fern etc or maybe more bryophytes.

    • @dbcaquatics
      @dbcaquatics หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hello! Thanks so much for sharing your aquarium setup-it sounds like you have a wonderfully diverse plant life. For your no substrate aquarium, you might consider adding some more bryophytes like Riccia fluitans or Pellia, which are excellent for floating or attaching to driftwood and rocks, much like Java moss and ferns. Another great option could be moss balls, which are not only decorative but also functional, helping to keep the water clean. Your selection of plants like Anubias and Crypts already sets a fantastic base for a thriving ecosystem. We’d love to see how your tank evolves with these new additions! Thanks again for watching and commenting.

    I wrote this poem decades ago, it may help your cause ❤ When a Goldfish cries. By Anne.M.Kenyon Nobody cared that I was dying, Nobody heard my pitiful crying. For Im just a fish without feelings or fears, So nobody noticed my desperate tears. Im stupid they say, I don’t have a brain. So I cant feel emotion, and cannot feel pain. ‘’Fish can not suffer’’ Ive heard people say. If only they knew what I felt like today. For I have a heart, and a soul, just like you, But how cruel is this world that I was born to. I’ll be leaving it shortly, I cant take much more. So I sink through the water ‘till I rest on the floor. I want to swim upwards, I need to get air, But my fins feel so heavy, they cant get me there. Its so frightening down here, all alone in my pain; So I dream as Im dying, that I can swim once again. I feel more at peace now, my pain is much less, Nothing can hurt me, there’s no more distress. This question I leave you, as I lay here dying, Why does nobody notice, when a goldfish is crying? By Anne.M.Kenyon

      Hi Anne, thank you so much for sharing your deeply touching poem, 'When a Goldfish Cries.' Hello! First, thank you so much for joining the conversation and for your commitment to proper fish care. It's incredibly important to address the common myths surrounding the care of goldfish, including the unsuitability of bowls as long-term habitats. These little guys need space, filtration, and a proper environment to thrive, which a small bowl simply cannot provide. It’s through comments like yours that we can educate and encourage more responsible pet ownership. We cover a range of topics regarding correct aquatic care, so your insights and engagement really help. Looking forward to seeing you in future videos, and thanks again for your advocacy for better fish care!

      @@dbcaquaticsI would have subscribed but the subtitles I was really not into. The CC button is there for any video, but if other videos might have the subtitles I’m mentioning it because it was very hard to watch. And FYI, liking is more important than subscribers but subscribers are worth something for brand deals. And comments aren’t worth anything to the algorithm… they just help the audience feel more connected to the creator… my wife does about $10K a month on YT, so I know some of the less known stuff, and I figured I’d pass it along. Likes get you into people’s feed… few views come from subscribers but brand deals do care about subscribers (secondary to views).

    Hi, you mentioned to feed shrimps once in a while...so could you just give us a basic idea of how frequently as of number of days gap or amount of feed. Since I am new to this hobby, I don't have much idea and your video is really helpful and to the point. I'm sure your channel will grow rapidly.❤❤

    • @dbcaquatics
      @dbcaquatics 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hello! Thank you so much for your comment and I'm really pleased to hear that you found the video helpful. When it comes to feeding shrimps, particularly for someone just starting in the hobby, it's crucial to find a balance that works specifically for your tank. I generally recommend feeding your shrimps once every 2-3 days. Begin with a small amount of feed-just enough that they can consume it completely within a few hours. This approach helps in avoiding overfeeding, which is important as it impacts the water quality and overall health of your aquarium. Monitor how your shrimps are eating and how the water quality is holding up after feedings. If the shrimps eat all their food quickly, you can gradually increase the amount slightly, but if you notice leftovers, it’s best to reduce the amount of food or extend the interval between feedings. Again, thank you for watching and for your great question! If you haven’t already, please consider subscribing to the channel and turning on notifications to get more insights and updates. You can also like this video if you found it useful-it really helps support the channel. Feel free to ask more questions anytime, and keep enjoying your shrimp keeping journey!

    A good way to know how not to overfeed bettas is give them what they can eat in like 10 seconds i know most places including the back of the container says like 5-10 minutes but in that time they can eat anything plus your just gonna end up with it all at the bottom of the tank good luck to everyone i hope this helped.

      Hey there, thanks a bunch for sharing your insight on betta feeding! Your tip about giving them just enough to gobble up in 10 seconds is pure gold. It's like you're their personal nutritionist, making sure they get just the right amount without overindulging. And you're so right about those misleading instructions on the container - who needs 5-10 minutes anyway, right? Your advice is like a beacon of light for all betta owners out there, helping us keep our finned friends happy and healthy. Cheers to you for spreading the wisdom!
