১৯৭১ সালের মুক্তিযুদ্ধে "কনসার্ট ফর বাংলাদেশ" ছিল একটি ঐতিহাসিক সংগীতানুষ্ঠান, যা বাংলাদেশের মুক্তিযুদ্ধের সময় যুদ্ধ ও দুর্ভিক্ষপীড়িত শরণার্থীদের সাহায্যের উদ্দেশ্যে আয়োজন করা হয়েছিল। ১ আগস্ট, ১৯৭১ সালে নিউইয়র্কের ম্যাডিসন স্কয়ার গার্ডেনে জর্জ হ্যারিসন এবং পণ্ডিত রবিশঙ্কর এই কনসার্টটির আয়োজন করেন। এই কনসার্টের মাধ্যমে বিশ্ববাসীর দৃষ্টি আকর্ষিত হয় বাংলাদেশের মুক্তিযুদ্ধ এবং সেখানে ঘটে যাওয়া মানবিক বিপর্যয়ের প্রতি। রবিশঙ্কর এবং জর্জ হ্যারিসনের মতো বিখ্যাত সংগীতশিল্পীদের সাথে বব ডিলান, এরিক ক্ল্যাপটন, রিঙ্গো স্টার, বিলি প্রেস্টন প্রমুখ শিল্পীরা পারফর্ম করেন, যা পশ্চিমা দেশগুলোর জনগণকে বাংলাদেশের পরিস্থিতি সম্পর্কে সচেতন করে তোলে এবং আন্তর্জাতিক পর্যায়ে সহানুভূতি তৈরি করতে সহায়ক হয়। "কনসার্ট ফর বাংলাদেশ" থেকে সংগৃহীত তহবিল জাতিসংঘের শিশু তহবিলে (ইউনিসেফ) প্রদান করা হয়, যা শরণার্থীদের জন্য সরাসরি ব্যবহৃত হয়েছিল। এটি শুধু অর্থনৈতিক সহায়তা নয়, বরং রাজনৈতিক সমর্থন ও জনমত গঠনের দিক থেকেও গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা পালন করেছিল।
