    I have a right shoulder injury for around a year Very hard to find a good doctor here where I live I consulted with an orthopaedic doctor twice they don’t specify my problem, just gives medicine I don’t take pills My shoulder makes some cracking sound when I’m doing pendulum movements I used to bench press 80 kg Shoulder press 70 kg easily But now I can’t even hold my phone for too long can’t hold on something Even stretching hurts the upper back of my shoulder I’ll be turning 20 this year How can I fix it?

    • @Mc2.health
      @Mc2.health ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      Sorry to hear about your shoulder injury! Based on what you're describing, it sounds like there might be an issue with your rotator cuff or a shoulder impingement, especially with the cracking sound and difficulty holding objects. Since it’s been a year, I’d suggest focusing on rest and gentle shoulder mobility exercises like pendulum swings (without pushing through pain). If possible, try to find a good MSK practitioner who can help guide you with proper rehab exercises. Also, getting an MRI could provide more insight into what's going on. Take it slow, and avoid any heavy lifting or movements that make it worse. Stay strong-you’ll get through this!

    I’m struggling to be able to complete one push up after an injury I suffered last week. I can usually do 50 plus without stopping. Is this likely to be a rotator cuff issue?

    • @Mc2.health
      @Mc2.health ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      I'm sorry to hear about your injury! Since you're usually able to do 50+ push-ups without stopping and now struggling to complete one, it's possible that you might have injured your rotator cuff, as this group of muscles and tendons plays a big role in shoulder stability and push-up movement. However, there are other potential causes too, like strain or inflammation in different parts of your shoulder or chest muscles. To be safe, I’d recommend seeing a healthcare professional for an accurate diagnosis, especially if the pain persists or limits your range of motion. In the meantime, rest and gentle stretches might help, but be sure not to push through the pain!

    Why does everyone in the fitness industry pronounce it “e-sen-trik?”It is properly pronounced “ek-sen-trik.”

    • @Mc2.health
      @Mc2.health 19 วันที่ผ่านมา

      This is honestly a very good question! Thanks for bringing this up! You're right that "eccentric" can technically be pronounced as "ek-sen-trik." The pronunciation "e-sen-trik" has become quite common in the fitness industry, likely due to regional accents and variations in how people pronounce words. Both pronunciations are understood, but if we're sticking to the original pronunciation rules, "ek-sen-trik" would indeed be more accurate. Thanks for pointing that out, and I appreciate your attention to detail!

    First of all, thank you very much for the video and the clear instructions! it is very helpfull and also align with the exercices that i have been doing and gathering from the several physiotherapy session i had in the past 4 years. I have had Latarjet procedure back in 2020. So far the exercices have been decreasing my pain but it never disappeared. The pain that i feel the hardest is the one from the infraspinatus, when you have your elbow against your stomak and try to push externally ( movement at minute 4:00), i used to hit that extreme pain at the very begining of the motion, but now the range has increase, but nonthless the pain never disappeared. Any thoughts on the matter is truly appreciated regardless of the answer or non answer, i am grateful for the video that you shared as i know it will help a lot of people with similar issue Thank you

    • @Mc2.health
      @Mc2.health 19 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Thank you so much for your kind words and for sharing your experience! I'm glad to hear that the exercises have been helping you and that the video aligns with what you've been working on in your physiotherapy sessions. Regarding the pain you're experiencing in your infraspinatus during external rotation, especially after a Latarjet procedure, it's important to consider a few factors. The persistent pain could be due to several reasons, such as residual scar tissue, muscle imbalances, or even compensatory movement patterns that have developed over time. Given that your range of motion has improved but the pain persists, it might be beneficial to revisit your physiotherapist or a specialist. They can assess your current muscle strength, flexibility, and movement patterns to identify any underlying issues. They might also suggest modifications to your current exercise routine or introduce additional techniques like myofascial release, dry needling, or other targeted therapies to address the specific pain in your infraspinatus. Remember, it's crucial to listen to your body and avoid pushing through pain, as this might lead to further complications. I hope this helps, and I'm truly grateful that you found the video helpful. Wishing you continued progress in your recovery! Thank you again for your support and for sharing your journey.

    • @Mc2.health
      @Mc2.health หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Rokia2003 It seems like you're focusing on just one part of the video, which discusses stretching hip flexors. However, the primary focus of the video is addressing weak abdominal and glute muscles, which are key factors in both swayback posture and anterior pelvic tilt. While it's true that tight hip flexors can be present in both conditions and might require stretching, strengthening these muscles is also important. That's why I included lunges, which help eccentrically strengthen the hip flexors. In summary, stretching hip flexors would not make swayback posture worse. Especially during weight-bearing stretches, where the muscles contract isometrically to stabilize at the end range of motion, stretching can be beneficial. I appreciate you watching the video and commenting, but you are not correct here. Thank you.

      @Mc2.health 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Great question! It's important to consult your orthopedic surgeon, chiropractor or physical therapist before getting any adjustments following cartilage lesion surgery. Generally, after procedures like micro-fracture surgery and stem cell insertion, a careful approach is essential to ensure proper healing. Your healthcare provider can give you specific guidance based on your unique situation and recovery progress. Wishing you a smooth and speedy recovery!

    Are you only doing passive hangs? Or should we do active hangs too? Pretty sure I have a shoulder impingement so I tried hanging last night. It hurt so bad right after, but my original pain improved within a half hour and still feels better than baseline today.

    • @Mc2.health
      @Mc2.health 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It is best to perform both passive/active hangs. When performing active hangs, focus on controlling/stabilizing the shoulder blade. This technique might improve the pain while performing exercise/right after. Glad you are already feeling better!

      I am sorry to hear you are dealing with this. It is hard to say exactly what is going on, and how to interpret what was told to you at the hospital when this happened previously. I recommend you see a MSK expert in your area to evaluate exactly what's going on. Here is a link to the full video which may help. I hope this information helps! th-cam.com/video/9p3HwD4ljC8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=MmoMQpSc0kFIcelF

    I took 200 mg last week. During the night my chest and heart were so painful that I thought I was going to have an heart attack. To use with great precaution! On the bottle was mention 2 pills of 200 mg. Perhaps I would have had a heart attack if I took 2 pills!

      I'm really sorry to hear about your experience. It's important to remember that everyone's body reacts differently to supplements, and it's crucial to follow dosage instructions carefully and consult with a healthcare professional before starting any new supplement. L-tryptophan can have side effects, especially if taken in higher doses. Chest pain and heart-related symptoms should always be taken seriously and warrant immediate medical attention. It's possible that other factors, such as underlying health conditions or interactions with other medications, could have contributed to your symptoms. Please talk to your doctor about your experience to determine whether L-tryptophan is safe for you and to explore alternative solutions that might be better suited for your health needs. Your safety is the most important thing.

SEO is the most important of any TH-cam Channel's top ranking. You need to optimize your channel for better results. If the videos are full of SEO and update the videos then the views of the video and the channel subscribers will increase. What would help an ice or heat therapy? Btw i dont have swelling It hurts only when i do full ROM.

    • @Mc2.health
      @Mc2.health 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Great question! Both modalities are helpful in managing pain. In general heat theoretically will help loosen up the tissue before performing any exercise or specific movements to strengthen the shoulder. Ice is great at managing the pain, but performing before exercise my cause the tissue to be cold and tight. A good plan is heat before exercise, ice after exercise if there is persisting pain. Heat therapy might be more beneficial for muscle relaxation and mobility. If heat doesn't help, try ice. Always protect your skin by wrapping the ice or heat pack in a cloth. If pain persists, consult a healthcare professional.
