Awesome content! I was watching your video and thought that you could easily boost your video views by improving your metadata (titles, tags, and descriptions). It’s a simple tweak, but it could help you grow faster! I’d be happy to share some insights with you if you’re interested.
it is phenomenal that you documented historical ghosts like this
@@GordonMacLeod87 Thanks! I know we filmed a lot in n years past, and I am so grateful we did. Just being able to see the world as it was feels special to me. Happy New Year!
Oh wow! My grandparents lived in Lakewood on Shadeway Rd.
@@sharonnorthern1525 thats awesome. I believed we lived off of Del Amo blvd. many of the Chuck E Cheese videos on our channel are from the Lakewood Chuck E Cheese. 😊
@ I looked it up and Del Amo is less than a mile from where they lived. Small, small world.
Why do I love watching home movies/video of people I don’t know?? Fill us in-where is everyone now?
@@sharonnorthern1525 I do too! It feels like the type of reality television Id want to watch. I think there is a sincerity to it that is relatable to most, I know I feel that way when I watch others channels and I hope those may have those feelings when watching ours. As for us, I hope to add some videos from the past few years of our recent adventures, because we are still filming. I’ve got 4 kids of my own now. My parents have 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. I’m happy to say we all get together pretty regularly still. Thanks for watching and commenting :)
@ that’s awesome! Seeing the decorations, the tv, the hair, the clothes-takes me back. Sweet family.
So nostalgic! Ace of base! My dad used to shake and poke every gift in order to guess exactly what they all were! Man I miss him 💔 I’ve lived in Jersey since 99. Brings back so many memories! May not be my family but this video evokes so many beautiful memories of Christmas past. Thanks for sharing! Happy (early) new year! 🥳⏳
@@masterofwit339 Happy Early New Year to you as well! I’m very close with my father as well so I know how much that bond means, I’m sorry for your loss. It makes me so happy to hear that these videos remind you of your own beautiful Christmas memories, it truly does. When I began posting videos I figured my friends and family around the world would enjoy seeing them, but the response from those who have been able to watch these videos and travel back to their own moments is everything. It’s the closest I’ll ever come to my goal of making a Time Machine.
@ truly adore & respect your pov and reply to my comment :) I’ve been on a nostalgia journey as of late so it was no surprise that your channel popped up on my newsfeed today. I smiled watching all the way through. This has been one of the best Christmas’ for me, tho not for the reasons some may automatically think. Moreso bc I was consciously aware of what the true meaning of the holiday means in terms of spending quality time with family as opposed to focusing on gifts (tho I went out of my way to provide those, as well, even given our poor financial status at the moment). This year has been tough for my entire immediate family (husband, son and stepkiddos) so it was nice to have just 2 days (Christmas Eve and day) together, watching old movies, reminiscing about lost loved ones and the priceless memories we have with them, and a good old fashioned sit down (home cooked) meal. No matter if/when times get tough, to know our family will always be “in the care of” somehow makes it all ok. Thanks again for sharing such a wonderful time in your own lives. Funny how simple things can bring such joy. ♥️
Running on empty, cruisin throught the city in the early evening, I'm down!😀
Hi
Halla dar!
@MistaShawn I'm sad 😔
DO YOU HAVE THE 96 RADIO CITY CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR
So magical ❤
Is this headquarters?
How old were you in this video?
I was 10, about to turn 11.
Liked.
Thank you for the video. Vegas sure has changed (not all for the better).
I remember hearing that my local CEC/former SPP (Springfield IL) during it’s showbiz days would have events similar to this where they would clear out the furniture in the showroom, and allow teenagers to have a dance party, I think it was called ‘teenager night’ or something like that, apparently a lot of stores had this. You can find a few pictures from these floating around here and there, ngl seemed pretty lit. Also, thank you for sharing this footage, it’s absolutely awesome and hilarious that this was archived.
Nice place beautiful sharing. Thanks for the tour
Las Vegas... an ever evolving oasis in the desert
When Vegas had character
Great video, Ron. I love the music and the "donkeymentory" is fun. Thanks for sharing.😊
Great video. One of the best I have seen about Oatman. Must visit one day, high on my list. Thanks a bunch
Thank you so much for the kind words! Hope you get to check it out soon.
i was 6 in 1988 and i can remember sitting in front of the T.V. after school and seeing these commercials. no decade comes close to the T.V., movies, music, clothes and the ability to be a kid without fear of being a kid. i am 42 yrs old today (it's my birthday) and i wish i could wish myself back to those days when my life was still full of possibilities and magic and wonder......... oh well! i guess we all have to get old.
Happy birthday
I was 8 when these were on tv
The 5 Characters who were of my highest priority back in those Days. Minnie > Aurora > Alice > Mary Poppins > Wendy
Dude, just imagine being a highly impressionable toddler walking around close to the front stage and being surrounded all the flasy lights and interacting with live characters. That's some seriously magic shit going on there, dude.
Can we talk about that Cadillac style commercial?? Lol... Those random aerobic women, that car passing dangerously close to that truck, random dude unloading his shotgun. Gotta love the decadence of the 80's.
It was definitely a “treat yourself” era 😂
@@PerryFamilyArchive PUT IT BACK ON VIDEO PLEASE
I remember as a kid in the 1960's, 1988 was the distant future to me, it's funny how our perspective of time changes as you age. It goes faster the older you get.
CAN YOU UPLOAD THE RADIO CITY CHRISTMAS 1996 FULL SHOW PLEASE
I don’t have Radio City Christmas footage
and a year later the "Sky Jump" would be gone and corkscrew closed in 1989
I see some things they need to bring back
Before the cedar fair Knotts of mostly coasters came along.
I wonder what your children think when they watch this
I like how you gave Sad eye joe the silent treatment lol
Thanks for the footage!
👍👍
Mario kart decided to do that tour with a chuck e cheese course named arcade mayham
Wait! Chuck E. Cheese was at a Showbiz Pizza Place, where they have The Rock-afire Explosion animatronics?!? 😕
Saw them briefly around the 1:40-2:00-ish mark.
@@pkmnan00bis Has this location gone through Concept Unification?
@@kylekeller3398 yes it did in 1991
Chuck E. Cheese sure loves to dance!
This is obviously Showbiz
Their hats say otherwise
Call me jacob lowe my buddy
Happy birthday
# happy birthday girl my buddy
You got any tours of 1994 stores like phase 1
dude he has lots of video mainly from 1988-1992 of cec
uh he used to go all the time to cec his father was manager of this location
This is definitely taken right after they started playing normal showtapes, I can tell because of the July 1991 show being played in the background of the stage. I wonder if there is any footage of Lakewood playing the Concept Unification tape.
1991: no professional sports. Boxing only then professional sports: NHL Golden Knights (2017), WNBA Aces (2018), NFL Raiders (2020), MLB A's (2028)
Right after the conversion to CEC wow
