You should decrease the jump height. now it feels like there is almost no gravity and it look odd (like the part one 0:43). Also you could add a raycast to check for steps so you dont have to jump over even the smallest step you come accross

You could add like a battle mode, where everyone has their own island and last person standing wins

about mediocre documentation.... I like how it is .. but... i realize friends strugle to understand without examples and more details.. and yes.. unreal docs it's just really compresed descriptions about everithing (i would call it "too technical" instead).
