Let’s start creating instead of consuming.
On this channel you’ll find videos about all my interests: from creativity, outdoor living, travel stories, my VW T3 van to rollerskating and more.
My goal is to inspire and get people outside of their restricted bubble, whether that’s mentally or physically. Let’s go!

A week in a tiny cabin in the woods got me sentimental and appreciative. Hope you enjoy.

My experience living in the biggest favela of Brazil
มุมมอง 2.6Kหลายเดือนก่อน
In 2018 I ended up living in Rocinha in the South of Rio de Janeiro, which was the biggest favela of Brazil at the time. I got asked about safety a lot, so here is my perspective after living there. 0:00: Intro 0:37: How I ended up there 5:53: My thoughts on safety 7:18: Freedom over safety 9:17: Favela tourism 11:17: Another risk that is not crime 11:37: So, is it safe?

มุมมอง 5082 หลายเดือนก่อน
In 'Friend Treasures', I'll follow some of my friends along their creative, adventurous or whatever cool journey they're on. Today we follow Naomi who fell in love with the art of highlining. Come with us to Freÿr, where we meet with a group of beginners who are following a highlining course at BeSlack.
Starting a creative habit
มุมมอง 26K2 หลายเดือนก่อน
Rotting season is over so let's switch to the other side of the screen. I'll be living my teenage dreams out on TH-cam from now on. Finding some old drawings motivated me to start a creative habit. Here's how I'll do it.
I waited 12 years to start this channel

Finally found the courage to put myself out there and make my first video. The hardest part is done. On to the next one!
As someone who also went to art school 10 years ago and hasn’t been doing anything since, this is so real
Feel you 😭
Thank you for the video! You speak from my soul! So many points that are also on my mind at the moment!

Thanks! That’s from a dream I had about Japan when I was a teenager. I imagined it would look like that 😅
Long Live Belgium... Great stuff. Just checked your other creative starting habit thing. Goe Bezig Dounya! Doe zo voort haha XD.
Ohh danku Dries! Leuk om nen belg te zien passeren haha
Very articulate and clarifying video. I'm from the countryside of Brazil, next to Rio. Criminality rate is not as high here, although we do have some neighbourhoods that are very similar to the favelas. It's clear that they are formed by the same historical issues. Inequality in Brazil is so alarming that a lot of middle-class workers often don't get in touch with the poorest people, and we are encouraged to stay away from the communities. It's such a sad and complex reality.
Oh interesting! True, it’s so complex and such a unique phenomenon because of the history. Only Brazilians know what this feels like

I love travelling locally too! It doesn't have to be anything spectacular as you said: barefoot walk on grass, listening to bird singing, laying down and lookin at clouds, soaking your feet in lake or river, watching the sun spells on the ground... All of these. Such a nice flower sketch!
So true, feels so good! And thanks Olga 🙏🏽
Yesss!
❤❤❤❤❤ peaceful and relatable
Beautiful❤
I’m going to start my yt in June, gonna create a new account and all that, just like you I’ve always had an excuse as to why I haven’t started but recently I decided to change my mentally and the way I do things. I turned 20 on the 21st and I still don’t know how I feel about it... I finally started posting my photography and short video works on TikTok last year and I’ve started to get really comfortable with showcasing my craft, the next hard thing for me to do TH-cam. I’ll do it, I don’t want to continue leaving my life in the what if’s🥂✨. Anyways congrats on finally starting, I hope you enjoy your new journey ❤️✨
Love the positive attitude! It’s uncomfortable in the beginning but you’ll feel so relieved and free once you take action. Wish you the best on your creative journey here on YT.
this is gonna be a safe sapce for the girls★ᯓ
Oh sweetest compliment 😭💕
Brazil is the cure for all problems, especially stress related ones.
For suuuuuure!
Caralh* girl, this was some crazy stuff 😂
HAHA!!! You made a video about me! I earned a BA in Studio Art and I quit creating art as soon as I graduated. That was 22 years ago. Now I am 44 years old and I want to teach myself to draw and paint so that I hopefully can be proficient at a fun skill/hobby for my retirement in 12 years. Maybe it can even be my side-hustle. I have enough supplies, but I don't create anything. (Granted, at the moment, I'm going through some life changes that keep me in "freeze" mode. But when those changes are complete, I will have the emotional space, time, and freedom to pursue things that make me feel happy and fulfilled.) Another reason I don't create, is because I don't enjoy the process when the results is sh!t. I know I have to practice for years in order to achieve a non-sh!t result, and I have to figure out how to make my brain enjoy doing that and to accept the fact that it will be years before I will be able to create something "good enough" to share with others.
Hi! I loved your video! Can really relate to it. I started my channel as I consider myself a very creative person but got stuck. Watching your video got me back in the creative mood. Good luck with the channel! 🤍
So normal that we get stuck sometimes. Good luck with your channel too and thanks a lot!

Ahh that’s amazing! Have fun!
i don't think there was a single second from this video that wasn't highly relateable. thank you for making it and for inspiring me ❤
Thank you, so kind 🥰
Você é muito bela ❤
Great stuff
🙏🏽🙏🏽
Yeah good job
I agree.I am also scared of creating things and I give up when I don't get the end results I desire.I am a youtuber and creating content is so difficult being a perfectionist but I feel like at the end of the day I should enjoy the process rather than end results.Thank you for this 🌸
Yess! Letting go of perfection is so important
0:00: Intro 0:37: How I ended up there 5:53: My thoughts on safety 7:18: Freedom over safety 9:17: Favela tourism 11:17: Another risk that is not crime 11:37: So, is it safe?
Of course guns increase short time safety. Really prefer fear over sexual harassment? No
That’s kind of the point of the video. There was no fear for me because there was no sexual harassment. As mentioned, the concept of safety differs depending on your gender, age, race, etc. So I can imagine you’ll have a very different perspective if sexual harassment has never been such a big part of your daily life
always white women
if you don't want catcalling, stop paying social wealthare to muslims in France, Germany. magesticly all they would move somewhere else.
are you French?
She mentions Belgium multiple times Probably the French speaking part
Belgian from Flemish part!
Favela especially rocinha is much better then any turkish, arabic Ghetto in France or Germany. for sure, especially for woman

Haha, very nice advices! Thank you
