Yeah I was surprised and how important it was due to Flytrap lacking any evasion itself without Phoenix. Shredder was MVP with its flying, counters which got doubled and general card selection/delirium enabling 🔥

Maybe, if you find one Snacker and you can revive it it's usually enough. Another tech that has been going around is Aven Heartstabber, I may try that in another version of the deck!

Hey, I don't think you really can sub it, See the Truth is the absolute core of this deck (much more than Powerbalance) since it allows you to draw an insane amount of cards with Amped Raptor and Amulet. It would have to be built in a completely different way :)

Yes, you are completely correct, I went for the Tendrils since it’s what I do 99% of the time but that would have been way faster :) Fortunately it usually doesnt matter that much the actual kill but in dome fringe cases (Veil of Summer etc) its important to take into account

Yes, indeed, maybe I wasn't clear enough but I meant that you can play the Mockingbird as a simple 1/1 flyer and sac it to Denial if necessary against combo decks for example, which can be relevant in some occasions - you don't have to necessarily copy anything. If it kept its blue color besides copying... that would be super awesome!

@MisterBabyDoll10 it is on arena. Search "jace" with the not collected filter checked. Alternatively, type in " set:blc " and that should bring up all the Courageous Critter cards.

Yes, it's unintuitive because you can't really filter for the mini-set unless you manually type "set:blc" as the other commenter said, but if you search for Jace or Baleful Strix without filters, you can indeed craft them and play with them. Hope it means more of those supplemental sets are coming!

I feel Galvanic Discharge comes in before Wizard's Lightning for a stronger early game

Wizards lightning isn't really playable in timeless, not being able to kill 1-drops on turn 1 is terrible.

Yeah, I was thinking of playing this deck if we ever get another Timeless Metagame challenge cause it's so powerful and fun, but no doubt it will be considerably worse in Bo3. I think with the Denials you do have more game against graveyard hate and I would probably play 4 Pithing needles or Disruptor Flutes in the SB against potential static GY hate (and pray for no Leyline of the Void), may be doable. But deck shines much brighter in Bo1, obviously :)

It is? I've been tweaking the settings but I cannot seem to get a super high res, will try to improve it, thanks for the feedback. My latest video (8-Flare Dredge) seems to have a better resolution; hopefully I can keep improving it.

Dredge is now by the way a mechanic arena supports, after MH3 necrobloom. So we might see more dredge staples in the future. But this deck is already quite good

I'd say yes, almost for sure. Boros Energy is one of the best decks I've ever tried in Historic and its power level is through the roof. It's not as fast as Wizards, but way more resilient and with a ton of card advantage, flexibility and even lifegain. Plus it has a good matchup against Wizards (in my experience) due to Guide of Souls, if they can't kill it it's over
