Are the flowers going to soften as they are exposed to air and moisture?
I would imagine so like any freeze dried product that absorbs moisture. I'll check back in on them and see how they turned out. I would say seal them in a nice container and that would help preserve them.

Tape the acorn on it will loosen up continuously with the pounding. hold the ground rod firmly and try to get it in the ground a few feet by hand first. With an up and down up and down motion. Usually you can get a couple feet of it in the ground with this method. Then you can use a 3 pound mallet or 5 pound sledge hammer when it’s within reach.
