I just found this out and my was blown the moment i did. Did you know footage shot in Log gamma function and Linear RAW don't have the same ISOs? Log in Sony cameras as in Slog3 in A7SIII takes the base ISO the sensor is driven at and increases the ISO by 3EV. Meaning ISO 800 is actually ISO 100. ISO 12800 is just ISO 1600. So when you go to ISO 1600 with this camera, you're actually matching the exposure of ISO 12800 of the A7SIII. When you shoot RAW photos with the A7SIII, the native ISO shifts from 800 to 100 and 12800 to 1600. We've all been duped by camera marketing
