Remember that the people were united in Genesis and God saw that they were successful in building the Tower of Babel and said “nothing will be impossible for them,” but not in a good way. HIGHLY RECOMMEND the work of Claire Weekes. Shaan Kassam has a TH-cam page “ByeBye Panic” that really utilizes the tools of Claire Weekes. His videos are awesome! My biggest issue with panic attacks is that I’m afraid of the panic attack itself and the spiral. I have always felt powerless to panic attacks and so I don’t fear that the symptoms are a worse health problem. I just always fear a panic attack happening all together and taking over forever. The biggest tool God has brought me to has been to realize the symptoms of a panic attack can’t hurt me. And that the goal of recovery is not to make panic attacks go away, but is all in how I react to them. Bc the less you fear panic attacks while they’re happening, the faster they go away. But you can’t focus on that. Your main focus has to be to accept all the symptoms and allow them to be there. And to know that it will pass on its own. And to allow all the intrusive thoughts to happen. Don’t fight them. This has been my greatest strength in recovery and in not spiraling. Also I use the DARE app. On a night where I get panicky, I open this app and start listening to the audios. It always helps me focus and get back on track. And I always pray, “God help me to use my tools well in order to best help myself”.

How To Overcome Panic Attacks 👇 1. Look to God! - He is an EVER PRESENT help in time of need! 2. Don’t fear - Fear feeds on fear. Panic feeds on fear of panic. Know that this is passing, you will be okay on the other side, and there is nothing to fear. Read Phil. 1:28 3. Know your triggers & symptoms - Believe it or not, it is comforting to know you are “just” experiencing a panic attack and not something worse like a heart attack. Knowing your symptoms and triggers helps you distinguish between panic and a physical problem. 4. Read the Word and Listen to preaching - the Word of God will strengthen and comfort you and go forth and heal your body! We are transformed by the renewing of our minds. 5. Breathe, Ice, light exercise - Deep, slow breaths; ice in your hand or your face in a bowl of ice water, and light exercise can help. 6. Seek counsel - Panic Attacks often surface due to an underlying issue. This could be trauma, abuse, stress, natural disaster, grief or other things. Here’s what to do when bad things happen: 1. Hold on to Jesus - The very first thing the enemy tries to do when there is a #tragedy or #hardship in this life is to cause you to curse God. Job 2:9 The enemy knows God is your only help and hope and if he can separate you from God, he’s got you. 2. Remember God is your helper - this #trauma did not originate with God. It is the enemy who comes to steal, kill, and destroy but Jesus came that you might have life and have it more abundantly (John 10:10). You may question the character of God, but know those accusations against God are inspired by the enemy. 3. Don’t be afraid - Phil 1:28. Don’t fear, don’t fear, don’t fear! Don’t go down the road thinking about what time is going to be for #holidays and birthdays and Mondays or more. Don’t fear the financial struggle. You can do hard things. Read that again. 4. Take heart ❤️- This means getting in the Word, encouraging yourself, not giving up meeting together with the saints (going to church), staying in prayer even if it hurts, and staying in the presence of God. 5. Yes pray for one another, worship spiritually and in truth. And do the good works set befkre us. Works alone will not save you. But they will perfect your faith. Our good works will not get us into heaven by themselves. But with faith we will be judged by them bith good and bad. If you see someone lacking daily food or clothes and you say you'll pray for them, it does nothing and speaks against you if you have the means to help them but offer only prayer. Saying be warm and fed on your way to get Starbucks for yourself is not following or proper worship. We are to be his image, it is not obeying "just this one thing" to be in his favor. But rather the word in its whole. Take it in its entirety and don't try to piecemeal it. Absolutely make peace with your brother or sister if you've anything against them or visa versa. But do not neglect showing the word is active in you...

Every time I go to church people are just engulfed in sin… to the point where I feel like them a worthless sinner. Which I know I’m not even listening to this lady she sounds full of guilt instead of love and joy like the king Christ.

Oh goodness, Protestants are so weird.

Actually worship has nothing to do with singing. If you actually read your Bible you'll notice that in Genesis 22. This is where the word worship is first acknowledged in the Bible. Abraham says him and the lad are gonna go up the mountain to worship the Lord. Did they go up there to sing songs? Did they have a light show and jump around and clap their hands and everything else? The word worship is complete surrender and obedience. Many people can sing songs as a representation of their submission to the Lord. What's the difference if you're gonna pretend to surrender to the Lord for an hour and a half every week and cry and and everything else. And you're going to go home and you're going to have premarital sex or you're going to go and start drinking around dinnertime. You're going to watch a Netflix marathon of some really bad stuff. You're going to steal things from your employer and you're going to lie to other people. You're going to just willfully live in the world. And then Sunday morning comes along and you put on your Christianity with your church clothes and then as you call it you go to worship. That's not worship that's called hypocrisy. Don't sugarcoat the gospel. Repentance is part of the gospel. Obedience to Christ is part of the gospel. Saved by grace through faith. The evidence of that grace will be seen in repentance and obedience to Christ. Doesn't say anything about Sunday morning you're going to jump around and clap your hands and sing and really have an emotional feeling about how great you feel when you're singing. Because if an hour and a half after you left church and you didn't even bring your Bible with you. And you only read one verse out of your daily devotional for the day and you spend about 6 minutes in prayer for the whole day. Please don't break your arm patting yourself on the back on how strong of a Christian you are. Here's a question if you're reading still. You have a choice between your cell phone your keys and your wallet on the table. On the other side of the table is your Bible. To pick one pile. If you pick the Bible. A jacket grab a bag to put the Bible into throw some shoes on leave your keys wallet and phone on the table and walk out the door and lock it behind you. Knowing full well that you trust Jesus Christ enough by the promises that are in the Bible that you won't have to worry about a single thing. OR!!!!!!!! You take your phone your keys and your wallet which means you have Internet access you have access to the world your job your housing your money your significant other and everything else pertaining to the world. As a consolation you can't look up the Bible on your phone since most likely you don't do it now. You don't have to reply back on what your answer is. Just know the Lord already knows what your answer will be. Here's another question if your chair said sing in all these modern borderline not Christian type songs suddenly went back to the old Christian hymns from the 17 and 1800s and your preacher started preaching for 45 minutes to an hour and a half like they did back in the 1800s. When they preached about Hellfire and repentance and turning away from sinful action. Preaching about assurance of salvation and evidence of conversion. Would you still go to that church? You don't have to answer the Lord already knows your answer..

“For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth.” John‬ ‭4‬:‭24‬ ‭NLT‬‬ We all love the feel good, breath of Heaven, Spirit of God is moving type of worship. But…so sorry…to worship God, I must worship Him in spirit AND in truth. The truth part is the acknowledgment of God, who He is, how He is, and what His Word says is true worship. Loving God but hating your brother doesn’t fly with God. Offering up a wonderful display and expression of worship during service and then flipping off someone as you leave the parking lot because they looked at you crooked is worshipping God without the truth aspect of worship and ultimately deemed as NOT worship. Bringing a wonderful gift to the Lord and making time to acknowledge Him but ignoring that a brother or sister in Christ was gravely affected by your missteps or wrong 😑 treatment of them is not true worship. Not to step on toes, but our God doesn’t separate Sunday morning you from Monday morning you or Thursday afternoon you or Friday night you. Jesus said those who worship must worship in Spirit and in truth!
